New start and need help!

Hello, i've been a lurker for the most part since i joined TI only to post sometimes.

I've been playing a Hunter, rogue and Druid as a F2P and so far i've not really found my place.
Hunter is what i'm currently maining since it's the only one i've gotten Heirlooms on and i feel like it's a waste changing char, but
the 2 button gameplay is getting to me and i'm looking for a new "hard" class to play i got no problem with either
Horde or Alliance.

So please leave a suggestion with what class i should pick up and which class you feel is the most OP weak etc.

Thanks!

wrong game. even end game is dead simple.
There is no "hard" classes in f2p. there is only ones that nerfed to the ground. like mage lock. their gameplay @ 20 is premature as monkey with banana, the only difference they die faster.

I do suggest u try out feral since it not as stupid as boomi and u mostly have to follow spell sequence

You're doing it wrong. Hunter play can be very complex.

Let the hunter QQing begin! Again!

Agree with SPQR and Activate.

My two cents:

I don't think shamans are hard, but they have a lot of utility (i.e. more buttons to push) and can be a great support class in BGs or do good damage/heals or even FC.

I find disc is pretty good for mixing things up, too. But squishy.

feral setup is really fun if you get the hang of it

yes all classes are stupid simple and only require a few buttons . but frankly thats not the point more so its what u do with those few buttons you have. While yes there are some classes ( furry warrior ) that bring absolutely nothing to the table but there are others which have very nice niches and can really shine at times.

First off any class with a pet that u can control has a very high skill cap in regards to positioning your pet for other teammates to use. there are very general game decisions that you have to make like do i go on offense or stay on defense that can be game changing .

If your looking for a new start i would suggest getting involved with arenas . there are quite a few ppl that love to do them and IMO they are THE fastest way to become better at your class.
find a realm that enjoys arenas and get in there . If your looking for a certain class i really can't tell you what to do because certain people just mesh with certain classes and thats just how it is imo . but try some new ones and maybe it will click . there are some great guides on this site to help you out with gear and strategy when trying your new toons and even a gear rating sub forum as well . GL to you and your new toon

To me personally, feral druids are the strongest class with a really active playstyle. Next would be destro warlock probably, who can be less active, but also have a few more intricacies to their kit that can separate good and great players. And third is probably elemental shaman, who can just run around pressing lightning bolt until they get crits, but with off-heals and some peels and debuffs it can still feel rewarding to make smart plays. Mages can also be good but their playstyle takes so much more effort at 20 than others that it can just be a hassle unless you really like the class, they have good active peeling gameplay though if you're not looking for a class that can reliably kill things.

The dumbest pvper at endgame has a knowledge of what his spells are and what they can do.

Having buttons adds only surface level complexity.

The true complexity in PvP comes from positioning, coordination, timing. And all of those are accessible as a level 20 twink.

Buttons give you the means to fulfill a lot of your goals in a simpler and more efficient fashion. Using buttons more efficiently is probably about 90% of being successful at pvp at endgame... But with less buttons, the other aspects of play become far more important.

Where you are, what you can do with the abilities you do have to disrupt healers, mire down a flag carrier, or kill enemies is entirely skillful and non-unique to any specific level bracket.

F2P Arms Warriors, while having few abilities, are far more complex than even an above average endgame pvper to play at 100% efficiency and play-strength. I only use Arms as an example because they are frequently chided as being the most simple of classes at 20.

There is more complexity than what spells you can use. In fact, it's easier to learn positioning and coordination in a bracket that is imbalanced, such as this one. Keep searching for new classes, you'll find one that works well with your mindset and play-style.

As Bop stated, the more complicated a class/spec is does not necessarily make it better/more difficult to play. What some players would call an UP class can give many OP classes serious problem if they are played correctly.
My advice is to look at the WoD patch notes. Evaluate the possible changes to classes and races and pick one and stick with it. Master THAT class. Don't settle to be "okay" with every monthly reroll class. Take ownership of a class and make it yours.

Do you really need to type out walls when Hunter is the best choice anyway? Rofl.

Well, Feral Druid is a pretty good choice. Eyepatch will actually be BiS again in WoD.

.
What does that mean, exactly? The OP stated that he/she played hunter and did not like it.

If you choose Elemental, you have have the options of off healing as well as dispelling. And playing a class that is not highly represented in battlegrounds like the "big four". You also have an instant cast speed boost spell and a unique offensive buff dispel spell. There is a LOT to do as an elemental shaman besides just DPS, if you decide to go that route. I am sure there as some nice guides in the guide section.

Have to disagree there... With all the boosted 90s around, I've seen more than a few people floundering helplessly in bgs lol.

Fair point. I was trying to emphasize the lack of importance in the number of ability mechanics. Basically 99% of the bracket knows what their abilities can do. When, where, why, and how you use your spells is much more important.

This is non-unique to any pvp bracket. Having less spells but using them well is more skillful than having more spells but using them inefficiently.
