I'm a little lost to what class to make.



I'm split between warrior and rogue.



I have not played these two in a long time.

I have a rogue lvl59 and while leveling, I never had trouble with warriors, but that does not mean that I fought anyone good?



So if both are skilled who wins the most matchup's in a twink 1vs1 fight?
 
rogue.



i have 100-0'd so many twinked out warriors. prot/arms you name it; haven't fought good fury warriors and i doubt there is any.



not saying that should be the case every single duel but when fighting against a warrior, the rogue is in control and the warrior can't really do much. as long as you have all the cool downs ready, warrior cannot win.



evasion early, it is better to eat just 1 overpower than hamstring+2 white hits+mortal strike.



helm of fire stops bandaging, although if he get 2k back from 3 seconds of heavy frostweave, don't get disheartened, just preparation and blow another set of cool downs and finish him.



strafing is very important, don't let him hit you and hit him from behind, especially when you kidney shot, you HAVE TO kidney shot from behind, jump through him, turn and kidney shot in the air is what i do.



know his stances or class in general well, you gotta know the enemy to beat the enemy.
 
if you can play a rogue warriors are cake. man above knows his facts looks like he has the basic ideas down but only you can tell you how to fully play a rogue to your abilities.

my warrior buddy can burst down a restore shaman in like 15 seconds(when he spec arms of course:p). yet it takes me about a minute to win the fight, that is, if i win...



i guess it's like rock paper scissors.
 
in a 1v1 arena fight rogue > warrior unless the rogue is a wanna be 2 shot scrub, messes up big time, or gets unlucky with dodge/parry/etc (misses shouldnt rlly happen if ur not a scrub and get hit cap). rogues just have to control the fight from start to finish. use stun lock, or bleed kite, just dont let the warrior hit you lol. a good rogue should win 99.9999% of 1v1s against a warrior.



in a BG situation a warrior can catch a rogue off guard and blow him up in about 3 GCDs. and warriors have a pretty easy time with most other classes as well. they have arms and prot as good specs, and can mess with fury too. whereas rogues have sub. pretty much a toss up, both classes are good. both are effective as ever in group pvp and arenas.
 
I would say Rogue too, a worgen rogue will be a good FC too, because of the sprint racial.



In other words you can cap the flag very fast, start with the sprint buff you can find in tunnel, then you take sprint, after that racial sprint, and if you still have gotten to the goal, use a sprint pot :>

Is there any bracket a warrior becomes king?
 
well since i think the 60+ brackets are mostly dead (where u can get bladestorm, TG, etc), 49 is where warriors are king. in a BG situation a warrior is very hard to take down. toss in a healer, and GG. plus a worgen warrior will have that sprint racial to reduce them being kited even more, insane!! even in arenas they are a b1tch to deal with. 1v1 a competent and geared sub rogue WILL drop you. but oh well, thats one class and one situation. as prot or arms you can still wreck havoc on nearly every other class/spec combination out there.
 
I think i'll make one of each, when a new server opens up.

On my main realm I have allready deleted 3 lvl80 to make twinks *hehe*

WTB more slots on a realm
 
Rogue vs. Warrior isn't as cut and dry as you guys make it out to be. Maybe if you start out with a 2 hander and 3k health you will have a difficult time, but with 4k+ health and a sword and shield, you have more than enough tools to defeat a competent rogue.

as arms you dont. all you have is shield wall and a fear basically, a smart rogue can work around those.

if you're prot it certainly helps BUT a sub rogue has enough CDs to control the fight from start to finish and if they are smart they should win.

it takes a good rogue to beat a good warrior, only 2 like rogues could beat me nearly every time in a 1v1 arena, all the other rogues were fail 2 shot guys.
 
Perhaps u should join us on Ruin. I'm sure I know a few that would luv to challenge that. Myself included...(Don't read this as a diss)

ive tried xfering characters of to ruin since 3.2 dropped and they've all failed. with college starting again in a few days i dont really feel like taking the time to reroll either (altho ive had offers) so i think im dropping out of WoW or at least taking a nice break.



what would you wanna challenge?
