Melee Madness
The theme of this match is melee dominated damage. This means pure caster classes without a melee specialization within their branch will not qualify: Priest, Mage, and Warlock.
What is a Madness Roll?
Each team will have the opportunity to roll their dice to alter the specialization of a random opponent. Each team will be required to link their team comp via https://raidcomp.mmo-champion.com/ to avoid cheating rolls. The roll will happen in two stages:
1. The first dice will be /roll 10 to select a player in the roster to be chosen. Position corresponds to MMO Raid Comp groupings. Positions (1 – 5) on the left group and positions (6 – 10) on the right group. You can randomize your members in Raid Comp in any order, but will become locked with link until the match ends.
2. The second roll will be /roll 4 to determine which specialization that player will be forced to play that match. The specialization number directly correlates to Blizzards specialization line-up. Top specialization being 1, middle 2, bottom 3, (Super-bottom 4) **Druids**.
For example: The team’s “Roll Troll” /rolls 10 and a Shaman (currently specd Restoration) is selected. Then, the /roll 4 lands on the number 1. This would mean that the Restoration Shaman must now play the match as elemental.
If the team’s “Roll Troll” had rolled a 4, however, he or she can choose what specialization the player must play. The only exception to this is Druid as they have 4 possible specs and a (4) roll would force them to play Restoration.
RULES:
Classes that do not qualify are the follow: Priest, mage, warlock
5 of the 7 possible classes must be unique.
4 healers or less may participate.
3 matches must be won to be considered victorious
2 substitution limit per series of 5 matches.
1 madness roll per match per team.
0 repeat specializations with the exception of a madness roll.
*Any Troll Monks will auto-qualify as a team’s “Roll Troll” for madness rolls*
This idea was inspired by my guild mates who /roll gamble all their money away on a daily basis.
