Was pretty indifferent seeing Shadowmoon Valley on the map, but it looks beautiful in the video/screenshots. May have to use that free 90 on an alliance character if they're going to be based there .

One of the biggest thrills for me, a dps, is seeing huge numbers when i go ham with all my cds.

I like going "Holy crap i just crit 700k !!"

And now they're going to make it like so;

"Holy crap i just critted 12k! Thats my new record!"

Pretty much sums up WOD

It's all about relativity. a 12,000 fireball would really excite you if you typically hit for 4-5k. When you're hitting numbers so high that you can't even process all of the digits as they fly by it becomes harder to feel any progression in your character. Whereas child could easily feel the difference between 5,000 and 12,000.

edit: It was really cool hitting for 3000 pre 2.0-ish. These days you don't really feel that since there's such a massive amount of numbers everywhere all the time.

It's a new mmo that is catering to hardcores, and it's looking really promising, so far I agree with everything they've ever done... I'm sure if you take 15min to look into the game you'll be hooked aswell
