omg I hope this is true

Well it's not really a buff because prior to patch 4.2 Arms two handed weapon damage was at 20%, but the increased MS damage is definitely a buff. I thought them taking it down 8% in 4.2 was far too drastic anyway. First day that patch became live I knew arms had died with that nerf, but if this arena junkie guess is true it could very well bring Arms back for the few who are geared/skilled/experienced enough to be viable.

From patch 4.2

Arms

Two-Handed Weapon Specialization weapon damage increase has been lowered to 12%, down from 20%.

this is the worst patch as of yet, you know that their game is broken when they feel like balancing will require quadrupling the cooldown of a spell and more than doubling the damage of other spells. as for 19 twinks, enhancement shaman are complete shit now and ele shaman will still have a 15 sec cooldown on wind shear? are you ****ing kidding me? hahahahaha what a joke

we can only pray hunters aren't buffed, even the slightest buff would hurt hard

My favorite part is that now there are two useless shaman abilites unless they are talented. 25 sec CD on a 2 sec lockout, are you kidding me?!

Shammy nerf is the most crazy shit ever.

If I ever run across another retard saying enh shammy are OP.. Lol.

25Sec Cooldown, that's one hella funny joke.

Resto that were already shit, are now just more then shit.

Enh that were just good and nice burst but nothing incredible, just got the nerf-hammer like nothing else before.

Elem, that were mehh.. Aren't changing.

wow, bravissimo Blizzard, you fully understand low level problems. Wait, you should buff hunters and pallys so everything get back to normal.

EdiT:

No change for pally?

In addition to providing haste, the effect from Judgements of the Pure now increases mana regeneration from Spirit by 10/20/30% for 60 seconds.

That's pretty enormous if you ask me

boo hoo shamans WS getting nerfed.....not really gonna affect 19's

most shamans in 19 are ele-spec and at 19 they can get: Reverberation rank 1 which will reduce windshear by 10 sec on 4.3 (if it goes thru), meaning WS will be 15 sec for ele-spec, which imo is no reason to start crying. just move the 1 point out of elemental precision

have 24 sec CS on my mage, seems pretty quick to me

did you just compare WS, a skill with 25 yard range and 2 second lockout that you need to be facing the other player to cast, to counterspell, a 7 second lockout with 40 yard range which can be casted while facing any direction?

do you realize how utterly useless enhancement shaman will be now, and how gimped ele shaman will be with more than double cooldown on their shear? blizzard completely ****ed over every non-ele shaman, and every single ele shaman at 19

as a player of the shaman class since vanilla i am disappoint

They just nerfed 85 resto shamans' offensive potential (which sounds reasonable). Bad luck for 19 shamans.

from mmo-champion

Rogue (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)

Combat

* Backstab damage has been reduced by 50%. (This change is NOT in the official notes and could be a parsing error)

Assassination

* Ambush damage has been reduced by 48%. (This change is NOT in the official notes and could be a parsing error)

* Mutilate now deals 179% weapon damage, up from 150%. Damage no longer increased against poisoned targets.

ignoring backstab and ambush nerf, could mutilate be viable with this buff?
