Need some help concerning Feral Druid for Cata

Here's the gear I currently would go with. But there's a lot of new gear coming in cata, so, which items should I not get? In other words, which items in the char dev will be replaced by something better in Cata? Thanks in advance :)



I know I could search and find it out for myself, but I am a little too lazy to do so. Only reply if you intend to help!
 
afaik its only the bracers you needn't worry about. There will be better quest greens for both factions.



Edit: also your weapon and glove enchants can be forgotten about, haste on both is best as far as i can tell.

Swapping 40 agility for 30 haste incrases your white dps by 10, which is huge, and it increases regeneration by 20%. 20% more energy is huge.

what does it do for cast time?



and truthfully, is it worth losing the 40 agi, considering 25% bonus you get from your AP? thats a pretty big trade.. and you lose armor and crit as well..
 
Go with Crusader on a feral man belive me the crit ain't worth it... Your attacks are so slow and your enemy always dodge/parry unless you don't get Nimble leather gloves for the 7 expertise... That's what I roll with, feral druids are overrated btw, but quite fun to play. At least it requires some brain, go with Glacial stone with Crusader and by the way why do you use Leggings of the fang? :mad: Go with Smelting pants for the crit.

I think being able to attack as often as you can out ways doing a little more damage to a target. If time is a factor, and in PVP it always is, with snares and heals preventing kills. Then being able to hit rapidly is a little better then more damage. Plus a full regen in the seconds away from target is much better Im guessing that since damage is going to go up a little, special attacks are going to become far more important then they are now.

It scales to 14.18% spell haste, which means 14.18 more ticks per HoT and a 1.5 sec cast (regrowth) becomes a 1.31 sec cast. A 2 sec (roots) becomes a 1.75 sec cast and a 3 sec cast (HT) becomes a 2.63 sec cast.



Yes it is worth losing the agility for the white dps alone. The is likely some theory craft that i have yet to do on this, but i am confident that you can safely forget the agility enchants.



@Ryrith. Crusader? urgh. And whats with the slow attacks? Kittys will have rediculously fast attack speeds, if anything it'll be too fast. the PPH for sader would be too low for it to be viable, especially considering that kitties will only get 1 ap per strength in cata.
 
i tried feral druid a lil and all i can tell you is dont go crusader it doesnt proc off FF like it does for pallies off judgement and untill cata you would wanna stay in travel for for the most DMG since bear is off AP and not wep dmg like travel is. Also haste is not the way to go sit with 15 agi to hands and fiery 100000% to wep Glacial with Fiery is ganna be key for kitty in cata.



PS: you have 15 hit get rid of 4 hit shouldersswap for the BoA stonekeeper stam shoulders, get 9 STR on bracers and use Fang boots for the EXP 3 set bonus
