Need some advice. 29 twink druid..spec?

making a 29 twink druid currently. I hope to have a warrior, and mage in this bracket again soon. I would like to know if feral spec stands a chance at this level. If not I will start gearing for healing... that does not work I will take her to 49s or 60 av only bracket.

Ideas on gear, spec, and helpful hints would be a plus please. I play a 71 druid but one has nothing to do with the other.

Feral is great for FC, and okay DPS

Most of the time if your a druid your either healing or flag carriering, if your looking for a major dps this isn't the class for ya, but if you want to do decent dps while being useful, then it is o_O ;)

Aid A hybrid feral/resto spec in spell power gear.

Spellsnare Resto druid

Sorry but I can't think of any feral/balance druids presentlly. I will update my post later when I get home.

natural, feral druids should get rejuv/dash. being a dps feral druid at 29 just doesn't work well. flag carrying is the only way to make a decent impact if you're feral.

Lol I did say Druids don't make a good dps class at 29 ;).

However I didn't look at minor glyphs, those are all majors....however rejuv or regrowth would prob be best for FC. I did say Feral and not FC, you don't have to be feral to be a FC, most just go it ;) >.>

And true I do agree if a druid isnt healing or FCing they arnt doing any thing.

dash is the best minor glyph, at least for FC druids. i prefer the rejuvenation glyph on an FC druid because it's an instant cast making it castable on the run...so you're going to make use it more often than regrowth or other glyphs.

Resto Druid 29 Twink

Brace yourself....

Resto Druid: [char=Steamwheedle+Cartel]Vinod[/char] (sorry, no boa items on her as I can't send them cross faction)

The idea for this character came to me, as I wanted to play a twink that I had not yet seen tried. Of all my games and matches, not once did I ever see a resto druid. I wondered, why? At the times that I checked forums, and sites and could not find ANY information on twink 29 resto druids. So, I decided to invest and find out just why it was players did not play them. Are they bad? Or just an unknown?

I found these to be powerful healer twinks.

I have played a resto druid twink for over a year now, and have had many players model their resto druid twinks after mine. One of the outstanding features of a resto druid is, their survival and multifunction. These guys are great support beyond just healing and can take over and fill many roles.

These twinks are VERY mobile healers, able to hot heal on the move, which has proven to be a great blessing in terms of surviving just about any assult.

On this twink, I have almost always topped the healing charts in bgs, even commonly beating out twink holy paladins.

Please do give it a try, it is a strange play style for a 29 twink but trust me it is amazing. I have converted more than my fair share of 29 druid twinks to resto after they saw it in action.

agreed.

29 resto druids are underplayed and can be incredible healers when placed in the right hands. i know a druid named Gimmehoney that was really good as a resto druid, had a set with 2k hp/2k mana and decent spell power and he was just such a good all around healer.

I've had 2 29 dps/FC feral druids and at 450-500AP which seems like a lot, they weren't the best dpser. But sure I could melee for a while then root em, run away and bandage then fight again for the win. And that is how I would win. Didn't work for most hunters and some pallies. I had around 2100hp in my dps set not including boa shoulders or mining bug buff. However resto druids are as amazing as FCs and I plan on collecting some BOE stuff for that too to add a 3rd gear set.

FCing is fun, but it can add pressure to me when my team sucks and I get the dreaded slow debuff.

you need to spec at least 12 points into feral to be a good PuG FC. the cat form speed increase is very useful. the two best 29 FC specs for a druid are 0/12/8 or 0/13/7.

yeah, before the debuff it is so much funner :(

Might as well put 13 in your gonna already put 10/12 in the feral tree to get survival instinacts.

Resto really doesn't become equal with FC as feral until 39, travel form some what canels out cat form, but then again you might wanna keep 13 in feral because at 30-39 you get the ability to track humaniods.

i thought it was tracking beasts? i dont have a druid high enough to have learned it myself, but on my buddy's druid, it looks like the "track beasts" graphic the hunter has...hrrmmm...sorry for the noobness

A decent example of a feral druid FC/dps is my twink. He is not fully twinked though.

What I meant is that resto druids are as amazing as FCs are amazing, meaning they are both amazing. Not resto FCs are amazing. :)
