Did you do it solo or did you have help?
Just curious. I've kinda wanted to try it myself, but the idea of that much corpse dragging is very off putting...

I solo'd mine (on my F2P goblin Shaman ** Rocket jump SERIOUSLY helps **) and it really isn't that bad, I actually enjoyed doing it myself. it was very rewarding.
I will admit I got sick of the look of it very quickly, but I will always have the knowledge I completed it :)

It took me around a week and a half real time, not sure how long /played it took me though.
You should try, if you dislike it greatly then you can just stop at any time.

If you don't already have one, it's worthwhile leveling a druid to 16 for this. You'll explore much faster and it'll be a lot more fun. I made one specifically for it - she has 21 hours played, though you could do it faster. I chose Feline Swiftness, though in hindsight, Displacer Beast would have been better. Point the doe between two mobs and mostly she'll run straight through.

It's kinda like a big puzzle. Your constantly making and re-making plans/routes to get out of some shtfight situation, eg. your in the middle of three square miles of raptors, or climbing Blizzards version of Mt Everest. As phron said, it can be really enjoyable and rewarding.

The Storm Peaks is a sanity tester. Leave it till last.

No one does sht just because..... if you really like/want the tabard like I did, you'll probably find it a lot more enjoyable.

Guess I gotta try it. lol. I was supposed to quitting this game. >,<

After about 10 times through it, I really hate the worgen starting zone.

And I don't like standing in the AH and pointing at my pet named 'port to Shat plz'
