Need help with sword and board macro

I have tried a couple from wowwiki and both remove my shield while in WSG. It doesn't when out of WSG though.

I just want 1 macro that switches back and forth with a 2 hander and 1 hander/shield that works in WSG. ty

#showtooltip

/equip Butcher's Slicer

/equip Redbeard Crest

Has always worked for me. If I remember correctly Outfitter can cause some weird issues with unequipping your gear when you use macros, do you use it?

I used a few on my warrior which made things easier for me, not suitable for all tho, and some involved stance changes.

My only problem with the macros I used was that I wouls till have to use outfitter to get sword and board back, or face losing the rage I built up by stance changing. I would always start with sword n board too.

/equip Runic Darkblade

/Cast Overpower

Same as above with Revenge.

/Cast Defensive Stance

/Equip (Name of 1h)

/Equip (Name of prefered shield)

Always equip sword before shield or it wont work. Also with above macro, I threw in /cast shield block to the end as I found that was usually the first thing I hit when I went into def stance, but you could also add /cast disarm in there too.

/Cast Battle stance

/Equip (Name of 1h)

/Equip (Name of prefered shield)

Same as def stance macro, but I liked to use different sword and shield for the stances. If I was forced to go to def stance then I would normally need heals so I would equip my LS sword in the stance change along with a blocking shield with a spike. In battlestance, the macro would equip the 1h with crusader, hoping for a proc before nailing down an overpower with the 25 agi sword.

Like I said before, the above isnt for everyone, but it made my stance dances and weapon swaps a little easier

well i use the same thing for all my weapon sets.

/equipslot [nomod] 16 [itemname]

/equipslot [nomod] 17 [itemname]

/equipslot [mod:shift] 16 [itemname] (if your equipping a 2her leave out "16" and the next line)

/equipslot [mod:shift] 17 [itemname]

/equipslot [mod:ctrl] 16 [itemname]

/equipslot [mod:ctrl] 17 [itemname]

/equipslot [mod:alt] 16 [itemname]

/equipslot [mod:alt] 17 [itemname]

there u go. u have all ur weapon sets macro'd to 1 key!!!

It was actually outfitter that was fucking shit up, but thanks for the extra info. :)

i turned off outfitter when i got used to mod changing weps, but it is useful, i just dont want an auto different set when i stealth or the million popup "you cant do that"s in arenas it gave me lol

...

You apparently kept the default settings. Disable the auto-transitions from character actions, uncheck the slots which cannot be changed in arenas from your macros. Poof. Done.

or I could keep my macros which only took 10s to write and I can switch em as I see fit =D

add /stopcasting to macro because if you have heroic strike in queue it will fuck up and not equip shit usually.

This. I have my defence stance macroed to equip 1h + shield... Generally used for those "OH SHIT SHIELDWALL!!" situations, cant count the number of times ive done this then been spammed with "Requires Shield"... Stupid action queue.

i h8 sheildwall spam -.- and i had that problem alot on my warrior in 39s lol. stopcast is a must

i use blizz's equipment manager.

i have a 38 warrior, just pick a avatar, usually go with a dark one so the white letters show easily and use it for all my configs. i also use 4 letter or less names like:

Fury

2H

Prot

Stam

Def

AP

Crit
