Necrotic Wake loot now level 50?

Farming rings from NW is proving to be a total nightmare. Like Adriano, even if gear DOES drop, it's soulbound and therefore untradeable. Starting to think these rings just aren't worth the trouble... I'm hoping an alternative is discovered soon.

There is an alternative: Mechagon rings. These are BIS at 10/11. 2 socket rings are BIS at 20 but the Mechagon rings aren't that much worse. Mechagon rings can proc a socket too. It's a grind though. 7 Galvanic Oscillators per attempt (when 3/7 of the rewards are unusable trinkets and 1 of the rings is a Mastery ring, which is worthless to a Warrior).

Other than that, these jeweler settings are usuable on any ring that drops from a dungeon in the current M+ rotation so we already know what dungeons we can farm for the next 6 months.

The advantage NW has is that 2 different rings drop from there (from different bosses). That's kinda nice.

Lastly, are you sure the rings are actually soulbound? If the rings are an upgrade for your toon, the first time they drop you won't be able to trade them away. I believe this shows up as just making them soulbound. You can probably mediate this by getting better rings beforehand, like from TW. I mean you can't do that this week anymore.

Perhaps there was an update. But as of less than a month ago. You were able to trade rings to a toon that did the skip from either boss

Sorry to hear this hasn't been rectified.
I don't see the rationale in trading gear to the toons, I'd just re-roll; but.... whatever floats yer boat, I reckon.

Have any of you all opened tickets about this?

I opened a ticket about it today. Definitely feels like I'm being cheated by an arbitrary, yet irreversible, menu decision, especially for outdated content.

I'm using Timewalking rings for now, but it doesn't feel good to know I'm missing out on much better.

you can go straight for the mechagon rings now.

I mean, they will be.
I would re-roll NOW while you can still grab the NW rings, before S2 begins.
Else-wise you'll be doing the doofy trading thing, which just sucks.

For players who either accidentally or unknowingly skipped the Oribos intro, their SL dungeon loot is all Lvl 50 req....
since you missed the title of the Thread:

This bug has yet to have been rectified.
