forgot to mention its for a horde character, and yea.. if i'm chasing an FC, i'll keep the "Ambush" gear on.. but if i'm facing a competent twink i'll spend more time trying to get behind him then I should.
 
Petrolspill leggings. 14 agil 6 stam. they cost a lot and are a rare drop from gnomer so settle for trollbane if you want. AP pants i'm assming are of the tiger for max dps, and they should have Nethercobra, not cobrahide.

are you going to just get one gearset? or are you willing to get two sets?
 
Why are you putting +20 agil on skullbreaker? Skullbreaker can take mongoose, once mongoose procs, you swap to a dagger with +15 agility.



If you were doing it because that was the 'most' agility you can get on an enchant:



Thornspike has higher DPS, less stamina and +8 agility on it, and can take the +15 agility enchant for a total of +23 agility -- 3 more than skullbreaker.



Scout's Blade has higher DPS, the same stamina, and +7 agility on it. With the +15 agility enchant, you have 2 more agility than skullbreaker.



There is an addon similar to casterweaponswap that will swap to a dagger on your mongoose proc so that you equip thornspike (or scout's blade)



Personally, I feel that +20 agil on Skullbreaker is burning a BC enchant for the sake of having a BC enchant. Take a look at Mongoose or Battlemaster and a weapon swap addon if you're going to use Skullbreaker. And run with skullbreaker mainhand when not stealthed until a proc or when your energy is < 60.
 
cd34 is right, the wsg dagger is the best off hand, while the poker is in your main hand.



I personally never found a point in mongoose, or really any BC enchant at least on a rogue in the 29s.



edit - o and take the wsg neck, its by far the best possible 29 neck for rogues.

regarding Ambush, I was going on WoWWiki and ran across this formula a couple mo.'s ago.



Damage = [(Weapon Damage + Modifier) * 2.75 + Rank Bonus Damage] * Opportunity * Master of Subtlety



so.. regardless of weapon choice the formula will be.



Damage = [((Weapon Damage + Modifier) * 2.75) + Rank Bonus Damage]

where Rank Bonus Damage = Ambush.. so Rank Bonus Damage = 110

and Modifier = (Attack Power / 14) * 1.7

so.. the more Attack Power I have on a character, the better the Damage.



I guess we can all agree Torturing Poker has the most weapon Damage a 29 can get in MH.



and as for the OH, whatever can get me the most AP w/ enchant would work.

so..



Leaden Mace of Power (14 AP) w/ +15 agi will get me +29 AP.



Thornspike w/ +15 agi will get +23 AP



Scout's Blade w/ +15 agi will get my only +22 AP



So.. just for Ambush I can go around w/ Torturing Poker w/ +5 wep dmg* and Leaden Mace w/ +15 agi.



soon after I can swap weapons to Skullbreaker w/ Mongoose and Vendetta w/ +15 agi.



after a proc I can swap MH wep to Zealot Blade w/ +15 agi.











* + wep damage has a greater affect as opposed to +15 agi regarding ambush.. already done the math. If anyone is interested in seeing the math I made a post several mo's ago about it and can dig it up

well here's an example of AP gear...not sure if it's max AP but it should be close. i wouldn't know about items but it seems like you got it figured out.

I'm pretty sure 5/5 necks dont exist? Barbaric Iron Collar is 10 AP, and is the highest. Also heirloom shoulders with zg chants had the most AP, although those dont exist anymore either. Even without the chant though, the BoA shoulders are still the best AP, unless you get a hold of an unbound naxx chant, but good luck with that. Other than that, perf list. Not bad for not playing rogues DD =P



Good luck with the AP set though OP, especially the cuffs and boots. That's all im missing QQ.
