    • Hey guys so im going to list my gear of my warrior so if you guys could help me out with gears i need? I'm a FC



    Head: Green Tinted Goggles

    Neck: Thick Bronze Necklace

    Shoulders: Strengthened Stockade Pauldrons

    Cloak: Dungeon cloak of Stamina with 12 Dodge Rate i was thinking.

    Chest: Blackened Defias Armor with 100 HP

    Bracers: Beetle-Clasps with 9 Stamina

    Gloves: Gloves of the Fang with 15 agil i was thinking lol

    Belt: Earthbound Girdle of Stamina

    Legs: Leggings of the Fang

    Boots: Savage Trodders with 7 Stamina

    Ring: Blood Ring

    Ring: Seal of Wrynn

    Trinket: Arena Grand Master

    Trinket: Insignia of the Alliance (working on 2nd AGM)

    Weapon: Night Watcher Sword with Crusader

    Shield: Gold-Plated Buckler with 7 Stamina

    Ranged: Thick Bronze Throwing Darts

    Gloves: Gloves of the Fang with 15 agil i was thinking lol/Thorbias Gauntlets with 15 agility

    Belt: Earthbound Girdle of Stamina

    Legs: Chausses of Westfall

    Boots: Savage Trodders with 7 Stamina

    Ring: Blood Ring

    Ring: Seal of Wrynn

    Trinket: Arena Grand Master

    Trinket: BoA trinket (for resi while you work on second agm) (working on 2nd AGM)

    Weapon:BoA mace with Crusader

    Shield: Deadskull shield/Arctic buckler with 7 Stamina

    Ranged: Thick Bronze Throwing Darts

    I try keep the armour above 2.1k for the damage reduction; if you go leather/coth for the stats it could have an adverse effect. Because you have less armour the enemy can hit higher on you so the 4 stam gained from item X would be easily removed; whereas the armour could keep them hitting consistently lower on you.

    This is just my opinion; others may tell you different with justifications. Fiddle around till you find one you like.

    Deadskull would be best due to high stam and armour. If you are unable to get deadskull through granfathering/faction or some other reason arctic would be your best bet since it has the same stamina as redbeards crest, however it has significantly more armour and block. Block and armour > str as FC.

    Eh... 2stam is nice, but i prefer armour/block since it gives your healers an easier time assuming you have enough hp to survive burst.
     
    2 stam isnt worth the 300 armour difference imo; 20 hp wont help vs a rogue and paladin on you; 300 armour will.

    2stam Vs 3str, 109 armour.



    The stam is unlikely to be game breaking or have much effect at all, the armour will help your healers out and the str will increase the damage your shield slam hits for, meaning the O against you dies faster.



    I'd go redbeard.
     
    looks like your gearing for prot?

    not my favorite, because if your not a FC your a kite flying high in the sky.

    If your not an FC but insist on Prot, at least put a minor run speed on ur boots. =)

    He can always find spare boots with minor speed.

    As far as not being FC, they won't have the major burst nor PH, but I think they can use a 2H for Incite.
     
    Never thought of that Notorious thanks. But I'm mainly FC my guild is working on a premade and all so im main FC for that also but i do have prot dps gear but never thought of a 2 hander but now 4.0.3a came out need to find a whole different list of gear for my char.

    When you're FC'ing, use the 1h/shield. When you aren't, use 2h.

    Arctic Buckler and Redbeard Crest are the shields I roll with at the moment, and I currently have Butcher Slicer (LS -enchant) as weapon. My 2h is Smite's hammer, since I don't own BoA's.
     
    After looking over the specs my first impression is that Prot could be really good overall for warriors. Definitely not the highest DPS but the benefits of 15% stam and block, and the ability to dispell while causing damage sounds great. A lot of survivability with decent dps is a nice combo.



    The only thing holding me back from going prot is piercing howl... I've got a shadowfang with life stealing main hand and IDK what to use for an offhand as fury. Not really planning on finding another shadowfang... any suggestions?
