Multistrike vs Crit for 19 rogue?

Tested on my level 10 monk.
MS does not increase the percentage of elemental force in the overall damage, because the 'multi-shot part' of elemental force is also multiplied by 30%. That means MS works exactly the same way as versatility regarding DPS.

By stacking MS, I can get 92.8% MS plus 9.5% versatility (9 neck 12 cloak 6 ring &6 versatility on ring)= (1+0.928*0.3)*1.095=1.399
Stacking versatility, about 51%....i.e. 51% increased damage.=1.51
Therefore: versatility >MS

stack crits, already 67% loaded, needs cloak + one ring to cap
then 15 versa on neck and ring= 23.58% versatility
total damage: 2/1.67*1.2358=1.48

so in the context of lvl 10 vs lvl 10, i think stacking versatility is the best option~~~~~~~

Unfortunately we are talking about 19s not 10s but that's cool 10s can get 90+% multistrike

I think straight crit would work the best for 24 7 burst. Nothing beats 50-60% crit imo.

According to what I've been reading, most prefer a mix of multi, crit (and mastery, but not at 19)
One point I notice may have been missed or misunderstood here is this.. a sub rogue does not do sustained dps. If you want to do sustained, you go combat. Sub rogues are your assassins. You hit, you git... So to that end, I stack on agility, attack power, crit and haste. I would prefer elemental force x2 as my weapon enchant, but any enchant with +agility or +damage or +crit would work.

Basically, your enchants should be adjusted to your playing style. I play subt, so I want in fast, do max burst dmg, and out again. I also stack a lot of haste, so my weapons strike as many times per minute (usually per 15 seconds) as possible to apply poison dots, and extra elemental force procs.

Keep in mind, at higher levels, haste is not as useful as it is at lower levels. The best test of a build I can think of, is pick a restro druid and try to kill it.

I'd like to see how haste does. Not interested in getting the enchants though

After thinking to myself I realized there are too many factors for one to be "better"

Both have their strengths, but rely on your team comp / arena comp and the opponents team comp / arena comp.

Multistrike does give more DPS, but that is only if you have complete uptime on a target, which usually is not the case.

Crit is more valuable when you don't have alot of time on the target and / or trying to burst someone down very quickly.

I am completely unsure about haste, someone should test it, because being able to spam sinister strikes / mutilates quickly could result in more dps than multistrike.

TL;DR: It really depends on comps and how you play your rogue.
