Multistrike % / rating

As I have stated many times before. There is no true BiS.
There is only what is BiS for YOU.
This is a nice discussion though.

Im playing survival hunter trying out multistrike atm, sitting at 25.63% multistrike (with pet buff) and about 24% crit in bgs and 218 AP.
Its defo worth going multistrike on a survival hunter cause of Survivalist - Spell - World of Warcraft
But thats the only reason to not gear versatility, would max it out on probs anything else!

30% -> 36% isn't that huge though =/ And I'd rather pick scorpion for the mortal strike debuff, -25% healing is pretty nice. Just my 2 cents though, play however you enjoy the game most ^^

U got sick hunter btw! Here's mine (wip) http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/draenor/Mesikämmën/advanced

24,31% crit, 228 ap but shit other stats x) lovin' the class atm

ps. how do ashen gloves / troll's bane leggings scale?

pps. sorry for the huge OT post

im so bad a theorycrafting its unreal but is my rogue's setup off? I find it really nice with multistrike since I have so much ToT

Imo it looks solid, does multistrike work on EF procs?

Also how do u have 24.76% multistrike? Or is it tooltip bugg?

MS can proc on ef, as far as i tested it can proc off any dmg u do

The downside is that multistirke only procs for 30% extra damage. So when you have it proccing from a dot tick for like 50 extra damage, it's pretty underwhelming.

Actually, something i have learned recently, and it changes just about everything. MS' multiplier for dmg is .6 because there are apparently 2 chances (its says it in tooltip as well) for every 1% of MS to proc 30% of the spell / ability. Not going to go re-do the math, but it seems MS comes ontop of pure dmg with that, unless there is a high DR factor that isnt mentioned anywhere yet.
