Not a new trick but a good one for Engineers and mostly for PVE purposes. Haven't heard anyone mention this before so here goes. There is a trick that's largely unused by max-levels due to it requiring a downgrade. Gotta love those, right?
Reaves Module: Failure Detection Mode this is why you need Engineering, because it functions a lot like the WoD brazier except the cooldown is less. Now if you use Rechargeable Reaves Battery like most max-levels do, then it's not much use due to the 30 min CD. But since we're 20 or below, we instead are using Reaves Battery which stacks in our inventory and is consumed. The difference is that this battery has a 1:30 min CD instead of 30 min. Note that the release timer on death is 6 minutes, and the rez once given by the module lasts 1 minute.
The details: what this means is, so long as we time it properly and have enough felslate, we are able to continuously resurrect ourselves. This does have a few caveats: one, it requires planning beforehand and dying within proximity to the module. Two, you have to stay alive for roughly 30 seconds between modules. This is because we need the battery to recharge in order to continue the cycle, and while it does recharge while dead, the window only lasts for 1 minute and the battery takes 1:30 to recharge, which means we need those time windows as close as possible so we can rez and then quickly use another module. One way to extend this timer and align them closer is through any class abilities which provide damage immunity, like the Paladin's Divine Shield or the DH's Netherwalk, though these can't be maintained over continuous cycles.
This leads to the second main obstacle. There is some sort of spaghetti code involving the pylon intermixing with Chromie Time, resulting in the pylon working on one continent but not another, and this changes with the Chromie time setting. I did some testing long ago, and determined that it had a random element dictating when it would work and when it wouldn't, and the way I eventually resolved this was by switching to each Chromie time and activating it until it worked, and somehow through this process of jumping chromie times and activating between stormwind and other zones, it began working 100% of the time. If I recall, activating it in BFA or present timeline while in Stormwind was somehow the one that finally made it work everywhere.
This has niche uses and definitely won't help much with getting one-shotted, but when you can expect occasional, somewhat spaced out deaths in a place which might take a long walk or be hard to get back to, this can go a long way.
