Moving Away From Rogues

Dirt Nasty

I'm sure many of you have noticed that games recently have been extremely lackluster. There just haven't been many competitive games. I think this is in large part due to the high number of rogues in games, particularly on the Alliance faction. Here are some screenshots of the Alliance team. All of these games are from last night.

As you can see, you often see the same rogues.

I believe that the high number of rogues in general have led to less competitive and boring games. The reason for this is because there is a correlation between competitive games and mid fights. With 4 rogues, your team will lack a lot of mid presence so you will be at a disadvantage when facing a team with more ranged DPS.

I've noticed that a lot of these rogues also have the mentality of ambushing and then being okay with dying. While they may land a kill once in a while, it's not nearly as helpful as a ranged DPS. High numbers of rogues often leads to their team while they are running around in stealth or waiting in graveyard. I was also in a game where 6 rogues weren't able to coordinate to land a kill on a Hunter FC.

I've noticed that a lot of these rogues have accounts on twinkinfo.com. I think it's best for the bracket if they play or even reroll a different class, especially when there is such a high number of rogues queueing. It's okay for a team to have 1 or 2 rogues, but any more and it just ruins games for both teams.

if only they just copied curley's gear...

I wish more people would take your initiative. This bracket just sucks now with crappy rogues. It's actually becoming an infestation.

Yep, ppl should re-roll to suit you. What if the rogues asked you to stop playing range?

thanks for ur opinion this is a good opinion

4 under geared rogues on one team just makes the entire match suck for boths teams.

one team is bored,
the other is bored with nerd not knowing how to roll more viable classes and how to gear.

people tend to play rogue when there faction gets contained so they can hide in stealth all day

yea tru tru, i havnt played rogue much at all for this reason, litearlly anything else would be more useful than rogues, 1-2 well geared competent rogue is fine but its usauly 5 on each side
