Mists is bringing 2 more “animals” to the mount family. The new “LK 2 person/ 2 vendor “mammoth” is going to be a pack yak. The price of this mount is going to be a relatively large price, as on beta, the vendor sell price is 15k gold.
There is also going to be a riding Crane , similar to the belf hawkstrider, that comes from an unknown source.
The next new mount is a scorpion, similar to the horde side, guild exalted reward.
There will also be multiple JC mounts, but the info on them is very slim and brief as of now. This is the model for the mounts, that players speculate: 4 separate JC mounts that can be morphed into a “grand” mount; once you have all 4. Some speculations is that the price for all 4 mounts combined, can be around 500k- 1 million gold.
With the new mount changes, comes a new mount tab. This makes it easier for account wide mounts and companions. It brings a more clean look, and a much more simple way to view your mounts.
