Most useful healer for F2P?

Legend
Hello, my game time recently ran out and I won't have the money to put back into it so I'm thinking of making a 20 F2P character.

My main question is which healer is the best overall? I'd like to have good throughput and healing ability as well as offer something more to my team.

My best guess would be Paladin or Holy Priest but I may be wrong, also if someone could post a couple armories of some really good healers I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.

You can train Healing Surge and Water Shield.

Some haste + Ancestral Resolve + Spark of Life + Nature's Guardian + You = Absolute Tank

Honestly, The only class that struggles with healing is a Resto Druid.

Holy Paladins can take dmg like a beast and have pretty good instant cast heals. Even if your not heal spec, a Paladin's Flash of Light will still heal for a shit ton.

Disc Priests have AoE Fear and Bubbles; the fear is hella useful when your FC is getting clustered ****ed by 10 people.

Resto Shamans totems are hella useful and earth shield is beastly when your FC is running/kiting. Their healing surge is also just as good/better than flash of light and Flash Heal.

Resto Druids are imo just best kept as an FC. Their two best heals are Swiftmend and Rejuvenation. Resto Druids are all about kiting with Travel Form. Pop Rejuvenation and Run. Swiftmend is very powerful but can only be used once every 15 seconds; so it's a powerful "ohshit" heal.

Swiftmend is a lvl85 spell...........

Yea I think if I got healer it will be a resto Shaman, which is a nice change up seeing how shit useless they are at 19.

I forgot Shamans got so much just for dinging 20, thanks for the help guys.

Now on that note can someone link me a couple good resto Shaman to see what kind of gear I should be aiming for?

A Paladin named "Indosmoke", you can check him on wow @armory.

i can crit over (1100) and (1200)-(1300) to locks and prot pallys with flash heal well healing myself every with Protector of the Innocent (350)crits,(400)Holy Shock crits and fully charged word of glory (750). i can spam flash heal for non-stop for over a min in combat if needed. with no pots.

Pretty much what indo said. Paladins have the most raw healing output and are beastly FCs. If you don't like dying, go hpally. Resto shamans make much better offensive healers, but as an Hpally, you still have ridiculous damage output as well. If you play offense go resto and make yourself a focus wind shear macro (will work wonders for your team). but if you want to do any kind of FCing or FC support go with paladin. LoH every ten minutes is a god send and has saved my ass too many times to count.

LOL i dont know what ur talking about im all offensive. i can heal the right player thru anything ask around.

Resto shamans are more offensive healers because their toolkit is best put to use on offense. Windshear and purge are not very useful on d, plus shamans can throw around shocks, and get healing bonuses for doing so. Hpallys are more durable and their toolkit is more suited to defense. That's what people mean when they say shamans make great O healers.

hpallys do good offence too i can do large burts of dmg with holy shock,Exorcism and stun healer then jump back in to healing really quick if needed. if i wanted i could just dps in holy spec and do more dmg then most. i think its just how u use them.
