MoP rogues helpless vs hunters?

i wouldnt say useless. with NE rogues, you can get 4 ambushes if you take the correct talent

players are gonna move within the first or second, you have no way of maintain ToT other than crippling poison which won't be enough

you sap...that is a free heads up. alot of rogues over use sap. nothing funnier than a rogue sapping a hunter who just got out of a fight is low on focus...then sap him again to boot....WTF-for? who knows, but it does the hunter a huge favor cause when the derp rogues decides to open...hunter has full focus

getting into position is what made rogues stealthing too much a liability to teams years ago and ineffectual

Go Goblin for the Rocket Jump! Or make sure you carry hundreds of "bottled sprint" aka Swiftness Potion.

That is if you can even get it as F2P (I have very little knowledge regarding this bracket).

the swiftness potion is amazing, and the mats are so easy to get, when you loot the recipe, it's like having a new skill.

Well, rogues will still be viable imho. However, they will have to acquire a more teamplay style of gameplay and a definite change of perception. No more, individualism. You have to rely on others to land a kill. For example, wait for a disengage to happen, and open only after that. Classes are nerfed to the ground all the time but they still exist and somehow find ways to adapt.Loo at locks for example. Salfir,Tbagr etc. make locks shine even if their class is gimped to put it mildly
And double charge will rock imho. It reminds me of the warbringer talent from the heyday of prot warrior pvp several years ago. It will definitely rock

to rely on others to land a kill??? aren't rogues supposed to be a 1v1 nightmare to the solo BGer who strays too far from a group? now we cant even run away if a situation goes south(yes we can swiftness pot, but for a proper escape u should gouge first...) as far as waiting till a hunter disengages??? why should i have to wait for other people to half kill a target b4 i can have a chance at it? i understand that teamwork is essential but why should it take two of any other class to kill a hunter? what happens when there are 5 enemy hunters and u have none? it requires your entire team to kill them(and with the removal of the 5yrd limit for ranged attacks they are still gonna out dps some melee classes at melee range.) i always considers the 5yrd restriction on hunters the only reason why Blizz thought it was "ok" to have an incredibly mobile ranged DPS, mages can have more CC but actually have to cast(or at least stand still a lot more then hunters) so now a melee class is no longer "safe" once at melee range... i just constantly see this game going downhill fast

Well, imho, it is too early to say what happens in MOP. But, if we accept and think that these changes are going to happen, maybe it is time to reroll a feral? They seem to be an improved version of rogues in MOP. And they hit harder than rogues. That way you can still stay individual in bg and escape easily if things get too hairy. A Feral is basically a rogue, just don't pay attention to their different looks and pixels and you will do fine :D
But it's just a mere suggestion, if you never want to reroll, it is up to you:cool:

there are more noobs in this bracket anyways. I always use 2 crip posion and i never sap huntards. instead i sap their pets (unless they are running with mounts on). It will be pretty easy to get two ambushes with one stealth
