MoP Resto Shaman Chardev

that doesnt makes sense. "Too early" implies that it is impossible to predict gear changes at this time, yet Utamar is still doing it.
@OP, seems legit.

What gear change is he predicting, exactly?

I'm predicting that not all gear is going to be completely refurbished.
I'm just interested in what the ideal resto shaman set looks like as I'm thinking about making one for MoP.

There isn't really much to go on right now, as far as predicting gear changes or stat priority changes.

The one large change I've read is that resilience is going to be better. It will add both offensive and defensive benefits against other players, so the PvP BoA's are probably going to be BiS.

I havn't really looked much into MoP, just class spec changes.
Obviously there is a lot of change coming.

I still think gear will be somewhat close to what we are using at the moment with a few items swaps, can't be certain on much though obviously but still
good to get an idea of what to base your gear around.

I will probably be going for a Paladin set up (assuming our heals will be up to par with Flash of Light); such as gearing towards more haste, etc. Also Resil is supposedly going to be better so probably aiming more towards a balance of mana, haste, armor, it's all really speculation atm.

Spirit may also be useful again so Arctic Buckler may come into play!

^Is the set that I plan on using, I really dislike Chardev, shows that I'm missing a lot of stats, it's got the stats on Arctic Buckler and the BoA's wrong but you get the gist of what I'm going for. Fast heals(assuming they're as op as pallies), survivalbility, etc.

I haven't really thought of going for more of a intellect based setup or just all out mana/sp/crit rather than just pure survivalbility but I'd imagine I'd be using Arctic Buckler and possibly(hopefully!) Inferno Robe again if so. =)

why do you use Grizzle Boots only for Amorboost? idk i mean spiderslikboot are much better...

The 7 int seems kind of irrelevant when your heals are already decent enough(assuming they will be, not sure), as I said, it's all speculation at this point; we don't really know what it will be like until MoP is actually out.

I don't think that the pvp BoA gear is going to change in usefulness at all. There is so little of it that it won't make sense to use it beyond what you are currently using.

What? How much of it there is has nothing to do with its usefulness. If it's going to give both offensive and defensive benefit in PvP (which is currently Blizzard's plan), then all signs point toward its being better than pve BoA's on a piece-by-piece basis.
