Mop Priest - Viability and what to spec?

Hello guys, I haven't gotten a chance to play the 19 bracket yet, what is the best talents and spec for 19 priest atm? And are they viable at the moment? My 19 priest link is in signature.

you wouldn't chose one over the other? psyfiend of mind control? void tendril sounds pretty dope if you ask me for battlegrounds.

they are good in different situations, for duels or arenas mc is totally better, but in wsgs i guess psyfiend could be more useful. ive tried both and still prefer mc due to being able to mc ppl off roof in flagrooms

agree w/ hurxx. mc is definitely the most fun and is EXTREMELY useful and game-changing. as far as viability goes, priests are literally incredible right now. they put out great burst dps, cc ability, and great heals. fun fun fun

Disc is the most viable type of priest to date, you don't see many shadow or holy priests anymore because similar to pre-5.0.4, disc seems to be putting out more damage than shadow. Talent wise I usually switch between them all (I keep an abundance of dust to re-do talents) but I've found that Dominate Mind (Mind Control) and the Psyfiend are probably the two top choices. The reason for this is because they are most useful on D and O situations. Also in regard to talents, it has come to my attention that some players may be using the Void Tendrils over Psyfiend this is due to Psyfiend going on DR with psychic scream. Clearly in the end it is your prerogative to what you choose, but take into consideration what I've said and go from there.
