MoP Priest: Disc vs. Holy

Having played both Disc and Holy extensively I can say that there are times when Holy really shines but in the long run, Disc wins out right now.

Switching to Holy swaps Penance, a large heal or large dps spell, with Chastise, a 3 second stun with a 30 sec CD. Don't get me wrong, an extra interrupt is amazing in this new healer-dominated world but you are left with only one heal, Flash Heal.

Also, switching to Holy turns your shield from zero cooldown to 6 seconds. It's quite jarring to go from nothing to 6 seconds.

All in all, Disc wins out right now. If they added Renew to the Holy spec it might make it on par when they nerf Penance and mana regen.

At least, holy involves some challenge, so i don't get asleep in the middle of a fight

Was in a bg earlier with a Dpriest named rak--- idr the rest.. lv 20 and had most dmg and most healing in bgs.. Not saying Dpriests are OP but any Dpriest with skill should never lose to anything under 1v3. Dpriests have always been better then holy imo but what about 24? Spriests or Dpriests? that one idk

Why not run Disc at 20? Bubbles are OP as heck, and i mean they are almost free AGM's every 15 seconds!
