Moonkin inc! Talent Calculator MoP

When I saw Frozen Power was a level 15 talent, I assumed that meant Shamans were getting Frost Shock before level 22...I think I've been trolled.

And I'm REALLY going to miss Earth Shield. Chain Heal isn't until 44, so hopefully Riptide will still be useful at lower levels.

At least I'm not a Priest.

Oh I totally overlooked the riptide addition. Not so bad for Shams then. I sense a lot of druid rerolls incoming. I've always had a soft spot for fat boomchicken form and just want to snuggle with them. Can't wait to /hug every one I see when they are shifted
<

You can /hug me
<
And I'll be glad to see hopefully (more) balance droods
<
They're incredibly overlooked.

So many new changes, some are making me sad
<
but others seem pretty cool. The new Lock changes are making me want to re-roll as one.

Riptide > earthshield by far

Uh theres something i dont understand with resto shamans. The talent Earthgrab Totem.. it replaces Earthbind totem right? But we now get earthbind totem at lvl 26 in MoP...so do we get the totem or not?

rogues going downhill... you get new cool combo builders but no shadowstep or gouge... thats just... not good

Ye, rly bad. Feeling more like a week warrior with stealth now.

At least hunters dont have disengage.

Yeah well with no more minimum range, they will just Explosive Shot your face at point blank range. Granted it will be better because we will be able to wail on them while they are shooting.

Also interesting:

Feral and Warrior loose their AOE tanking skills (Swipe and Thunderclap) until lvl 22.

Don't know the idea behind that. Back to classic hardcore tapping style?

+

Feral and Moonkin loose Regrowth and Nourish (now resto only). They get healing touch (more expansive than Nourish and also 2.5 cast time) :-(

Meh, seems yet again loss of utility and hence fun.

The annoying thing about these Talent changes (and 'balance' alterations in general) is that they tend to (to put it mildly) affect pre-end cap play far more drastically than end-cap play, yet The Great Spirit That Should Crawl Back From Whence It Came and its cronies have little or no regard for that most-affected part of the game.
