No no no.. see that's where you all get this thing mixed up. Just because you're being a masochist and playing a garbage class doesn't mean win you when it took more 'skill' than anything else. It just means you play a shit class.
In twinks there are some things that account for skill. Almost all of them are not based on what class you play, regardless of how good it is or how bad it is.

Playing these two classes in two's would take an good amount of skill to beat a roflstomp team like Monk/Ret or Warrior/Healer. They'd have to CC perfectly and set up kills like pros all while staying alive and kiting. Mages do pretty weak damage, was on a win streak with a Frost mage and myself playing a Disc. I always ended up doing more damage than him but he was a god at peeling me, kiting, and CCing. It's only a garbage class in the hands of a garbage player.

Not true. It would take an amazing player to beat even the most mediocre players on classes like rets and BMs. I twink mained a mage all through MOP aside my monk, I would lose to any random hunter the majority of the time and I'm a 3x gladiator. Skill doesn't make a difference when as you said a healer can out DPS you. All classes and comps have skill elements, just because the classes suck doesn't make it skill when you win though.

Skill does make a difference. We were able to beat Warrior/Ret comps, although it was a loooong drawn out win due to the ret off-healing like a sir. But once the mage set up the CC combo with a poly into a Torrent, we were able to takedown the warrior before the ret could heal. What mages lack in damage they make up for in CC, unless they don't know how/when to CC and the mage I encountered knew exactly what to do. I'm not saying mages don't do ANY damage, it's definitely there, just not as prevalent as other classes. The same can be applied to Warlocks with fears. So I repeat, it's only a garbage class in the hands of a garbage player.

Even in 2v2 classes like mage and warlock are so underpowered that there is less skill on your end and more lack of skill on their end. I'd wager that most good ret paladins could 2v1 a good mage/lock team.
No matter how amazing you may think you are, if you can't kill in the 10~ or so seconds of CC you can do you're going to loss to any other comp of disc/x that can. In my experiences playing 2s and 3s good players lose a lot to stupid shit like ferals hitting for 2300 in one global and ret paladins healing infinitely harder than real healers.
I can agree that mages take more skill than a ret paladin for instance, but with twinks and weak classes at some point you're hoping for your opponents to be idiots(of which there are a lot of).
I still say 2s doesn't take much skill, if any at all. Any good player can sheep into torrent or in my comps case hoj into fists into torrent.
