Where I am from we have this thing called the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. And for a few weeks in March we get to indulged ourselves in everything fried. Here is just but a sample. I can link more if you like.

I don't think I'd like to try all that deep fried food (deep fried just not really my thing, specially not with stuff like oreos (wtf))

I got Best in show for the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo Art Comp way back in 6th grade (as well as the Reliant power of art comp). Went there like 3 times, Saw Martina McBride, Brooks and Dunn, and Jamey Johnson I believe.

edit: Yea Johnson was singing "in color" was pretty awesome ^_^

We have the same sort of thing in SoCal called the Orange County Fair. I mainly just go for all the deep fried goodness.. surprisingly deep fried kool-aid isn't bad at all.

The best iv ever had was deep friend ice cream. i know let me explain. They take a huge scoop of ice cream that is dipped in batter then dropped in the fryer for like a second to fry the batter.
