Mixology?

Do any of you guys run alchemy for the mixology perk? I think it gives you around a 30int bonus with distilled wisdom flasks. That seems better than having a shoulder enchant with inscription

Sounds interesting, especially since there other ways to enchant your shoulders (heirlooms or trade glitch)

I haven't heard of it giving extra stat bonus anymore to elixirs/flasks, but it seems to still double the duration for elixirs and flasks though at least those you know how to make yourself but have also seen an alchemist getting 40minutes on the DMF elixirs that usually only lasts 20mins.

Flask of Distilled Wisdom will give you the most intellect if you want to min/max your character. You can buy this and use it without levelling any points into alchemy.

The only problem is that they're quite expensive to make. The mats will set you back around 1k gold on my server.

The flask also disappears if you enter into a battleground. You will have to use another flask. And when the battleground finishes it will be removed again.

Unless you have tonnes of gold to spend all the time then i recommend the Alchemist's Flask as once you have it, it's free to re-apply and gives a good amount of int compared to other professions.

True Terpenes. I just thought about that as a tooltip error but doesn't really matter anyway how to look at it since only alchemists can use it.

To benefit from it you have to learn crafts yourself. Thus leveling the thing.

At 300 you get to choose 1 more perk

Elixir Master
Potion Master
Transmutation Master

There is another flask Called Supreme power its 63 sp i believe.

Yes it is true I forgot. If you know how to make the elixir you get an increased benefit from most elixirs. Adepts elixir for example increases from about 11-14 int/crit to about 21 if I remember correctly. So yeah alchemism is not a bad choice I run alchemy on almost all my twinks
