Mistweaver

JadeFire

Worthless
Hi,

Looking to make a 39 healer, but only like to play Monk.

1) How does Mistweaver work as 1 actual healing done, 2 how long do they live? Have only heard a few things about the bracket most of them involve people getting decimated in seconds by crazy weapon procs etc... which I'm sure is over exaggerated nonsense.

2) Any info would help.

3) And also which faction needs the most attention in the bracket with the current XPAC... I can roll either does not matter.

4) Actual gear list aside, what is the versatility % that you want to try to hit in the 39s, I've read its lower than the 29s, but what is a good % to hit?

Hi and welcome to 39's - Are you EU or NA?

I was thinking about re-speccing on of my WW Monks to MW, just because they are a lot of fun to play.

Unfortunately my monks are in need of some attention, their gear is all over the place. But going with the Fang set will get you somewhere near where you'd want to be. On my 39 Boomie the Fang Set bonus gives me slightly more than going for the best Primary stat gear alone.

Hello and welcome to the bracket!

1. MW are healing monsters in this bracket! They can absolutely pump out the heals on demand and in a hurry. They also do great damage as well, and are generally one of the top class/specs right now.

2. Check out my class tier post, it will give you more info and there are plenty of armory links to reference.

3. Alliance, alliance, alliance... I have an alliance guild on Stormrage if you would like a community to gear/level with.

4. Typically, people like to hit 20% to be survivable in the bracket, but I've seen healers go as high as 30%.

I hope that helps, and again welcome!

MW heals are more single target compared to disc or resto. Best single target healer by far.

MW has potentially very very high survivability, depending on your capabilites as a player. Chi torpedo is an insanely good talent when used correctly and you will never die while channeling heals on yourself unless you’re interrupted. Fake casting can be good to learn against mages and fury warriors. Life Cocoon is absolutely insane as well for an emergency for surviving yourself or saving a teammate.

I have a MW on both alliance and horde, both factions have their ebbs and flows. IMO, in a general sense, horde has better puggers and alliance has better twinks.

Vers is a great stat for MW. I always prefer it over crit or haste. MW monks can do very high burst damage on top of their healing and vers helps a lot with that.
