EU+US Missing Vanilla?

I just joined a free private server that takes you back to Vanilla. The server is called Kronos. Having a blast playing 1.12.1 vanilla on Notstralius/Elysium. I'm really impressed with the addon/ui community.
 
been checking out nostalrius / elysium the past few days, altho I am only lvl 16 at the moment, it seems very active with almost daily queues at peak times to get on.

there seems to be an active twinking community on-going there as well with instant to 1-5 min pops from what I've been told, deffently something I will try check out later down the road when I have more resources.

the only downside to it's population is you need very good patience to be leveling there.. most mobs and quest items are almost always taken and it can take a while to complete sertan quests with long respawn timers ._.

There population is something on the order of 2000-3000 peak. I was in queue yesterday for 10 minutes. Their servers must not be able to handle a lot of people at one time. They are only a private entity after all and simply don't have a lot of income like Blizzard.

I have just been skipping the quests that people have been camping, not really worth the effort. The toughest part is starting completely over with absolutely NOTHING. Going from living like a king to living like a pauper.

the wepsite is down at the moment and has been for a couple days now. also that site has characters from multible private servers it seems which can be on different patches so it isn't always reliable.

for instance will some armories show seal of wrynn being the blue version with almost +3 - +4 in every stats but on the 'live' elysium server it is a green ring giving +2 stam +6 int, or something a long those lines.
