You're such a discreetly obvious troll sometimes.

How is this "trolling"? I don't know why I ask, you won't answer.
id rather 2000 millennials than one of you
Why? Because they cba to read an article?

Did either of even look at the article at all? It isn't a poke at millennials, it just gives some stats. That is all it is about.

Such as...
Millennials out number baby boomers. That is a very significant milestone!!
Over 40% of Millennials have tattoos. Only 15% Boomers.
26% of Millennials are married. Compared to 48% of Baby Boomers and 36% Gen-Xers(me).
In general Millennials are more educated.

Those complaining about millennials are usually those who raised them

Millennials/Gen Y were on a similar path as Gen X till the internet took over. And I'd say the internet has changed many characteristics of even the Baby boomers (those who use it).

The only things I can see curbing another generation would be either be advancements in AI and Space Travel, or decline in world-wide religion (possibly a by-product of advancements). Maybe even political/economic revolution, for better or worse. That said, overwhelming outcry over the internet isn't enough to "revolutionize" a political structure. Back when revolutions meant something in the US, it involved them getting off their asses.

Or those that raised them...

At any rate, this thread isn't a "complaint" thread. I simply posted an article from a news website that had some interesting facts concerning people that were in the 18-34 age bracket. The fact that some people in said age group(or close to it) got "triggered" is not my fault. In fact, it could be added to the list of "facts" I would imagine.

Yes I read the dumb article. It pokes millennials in the ribs in a whimsical manner, very much like how you respond to eveyone around here.

You also chose to post this article on a website that is MOSTLY inhabited by millennials. And now I'll say it again, try harder next time.

Many studies have been done on the psychological effects of the Internet on people. Perhaps one was conducted on this site. /wink

I do thank you for your response and you are entitled to your opinion. However, if one notes the statistics provided in the article it actually paints 18-34 year olds in a positive light, not a negative one.

I found the article to be written in a satirical manner, maybe I misjudged but i still feel that way so idk

So basically you have many times over hinted at your 'work' on this website. That you're, mainly or partly, here to do 'research' and to 'study' the behaviour of the members of XPOff, and now, yet again, you hint at an actual study that have been made, maybe by yourself. Could you please share this study with us, I'm sure it would be an interesting read.

I am going to take a step back in time and quote this post again since I have a little more time now.

You state.
"Yes I read the dumb article." I would not quite say "dumb". Each of are allowed our opinion though.
"It pokes millennials in the ribs in a whimsical manner, very much like how you respond to eveyone around here." That is quite untrue.
"You also chose to post this article on a website that is MOSTLY inhabited by millennials." This is most likely true. For it would only need to be 50.1 % to be mostly. Although I have no doubt there are users that fall below this age range. And some that are above. Some would call it a bell curve.
"And now I'll say it again, try harder next time." I was not trying anything. The cell phone statistic that I literally laughed out loud(LoL) about I suspected would be higher. Practically anyone who owns a cell phone charges it by their bed or at least keeps it on a night stand. So that was a loaded question.

As you all can see, there is no reason to get your panties in a wad.

"Software developer Atlassian allows its employees to bring their dogs to its Austin office. But there's a limit: 12 dogs per floor, Navarro said".

Can you imagine the smell in the office with that many dogs on one floor?

I supposed that would depend on the size of the floor and the building's HVAC. As well as the dog's owners capacity for proper canine hygiene.

I would not necessarily call it a new concept though. My wife has had “Fido Fridays” for years at her office every quarter. All one has to do is donate to the local animal shelter and they can bring their dog to work with them.
