Cant see the chest on low levels so no illusion or tabard.

I have tested the other mobs and they are not scaled but also not dropping loot. A 110 killed the next boss and the trash before him for me, was not able to loot anything. Looks like no fun for us :X
The Knapsack thing is trash because it is a once a day thing and some bad luck may be the reason for missing the epics from this event...

There is a mob right before the boss http://www.wowhead.com/npc=40446/skarthis-the-summoner it scales to 20 and drop northrend loot and lootable.
So if for someone is really lucky they might get some boe out of it maybe.
Did the whole dungeon. Damaged some mobs and bosses. Nothing dropped.
Got achievement for the dungeon so there is that.

I have done the event on 7 chars so far and I have never gotten any loot from it.

As far as i know the loot chance is reduce by level but you still able to loot high level mobs from time to time in the open world. The loot i got from the mob in question was some silver and 2 frostweave cloth.

The only char that I got loot on was a vet. Not a single fp2 out of 10 got loot. Were you f2p or vet on the char you looted?

Vet but i don't think looting rules take in to consideration account status.
Might depend on who in the party damaged it first.

That's actually fucking sick. You need to be 20+ to enter, or? Has anyone attempted on a 19 for example?

As far as I know the illusion can only be obtained from the epic daily bag at higher levels.
