I have talked a bit to the TI Bracket Manager "Mialo" and he has been very rude to me and I am offended by his lack of professionalism you would expect from a Manager of a bracket.

In the f2p section of the site there was a thread asking fellow TI members to post what do they do while waiting in ques for Battle Grounds and I posted the word "porn". Shortly after Mialo removed the post stating it was "Sexual Content".

I replied to this removal with a question of why is the word "porn" Sexual Content? and I sincerely apologized for the joke I made.

Mialo replyed with:

Here Mialo did not answer my question of how is the word "porn" sexual content so I replied with so joking about porn is okay but joking about porn with the definition assumed is not? and would the joke of "I fap" be okay?

In addition to this reply I apologized for asking so many questions I just wanted everything to be cleared up so I do not break the rules again,

This reply from Mialo had confused me a bit more so I asked "So the word porn is okay on the site but I can't say I watch it?

Mialo replied with:

If you can scream it throughout a store filled with people without feeling even a little embarressed, its fine.

Mialo's reply now didn't make too much sense for me so I asked did he by chance use the wrong word "embarrassed" because if I went down to my local Walmart and yelled PORN at the top of my lungs people would think I'm weird they would not feel at the slight bit embarrassed. So I asked if users on TI can have half naked women as their signature and avatar that is far worse "sexual content" than just a joke of I watch porn when in que.

Mialo replied with:

Stop acting like a tool. If you can't understand why "porn" shouldn't be put on an online forum, there is something wrong. I don't care at all if it's there or not. It's just in the CoC.

Here I was greatly offended because all I was doing is asking for help clearing up the ruling of the Code of Conduct and Mialo calls me a "tool" and I feel as if his comment "If you can't understand why "porn" shouldn't be put on an online forum, there is something wrong" he is calling me retarded which I take high offence to this.

I do not believe a person like Mialo should be a Bracket Manager because it is ruining the reputation of TI and drawing good members away because they are being called retarded tools.

Exactly, I would have understood a " I'm sorry but I see your post as inapropriate so I removed it" and when I ask about half naked women on signatures Mialo could have said I will discuss this with other mods because he can not give me a definat reason yet instead of insulting me

I don't get why you make such a point about it. I deleted a post of you, after I consulted Kratos about it. She told me it was inappropriate. So I deleted 2 posts which basically said the same. After asking a question which the answer is pretty obvious to me, you keep on going on about it. What's the point? I make a funny comment around it. I feel sorry if you felt offended. I meant 'tool' in no way really offensive. But if you keep on going about a stupid issue like this, where the solution is as clear, this is the result.

I could have handled it differently, but the outcome would have been the same. You just don't post stuff like that on a forum like this, no matter what the intensions are. Consult Shane, Silin, Yde if you want. Nothing will change. We're all doing this in our free time and I try to do it as well as possible. Good luck on your journey to brand me guilty. You still don't post it on these forums!

I will be consulting Yde about this and they will give me a real answer hopefully. I was asking you for help on a better clarification on why is it not appropraite on the forums if users like Kayooh can have a nearly naked actress as thier signature but I can't post about it.

Something as obvious as this issuse to you might not be as obvious to people like me. TI is a site that accepts twinks from all around the world so I come from a place slight jokes about the adult industry are okay EXPECIALLY when there are half naked women in 1/4th of the users signatures.

You once again avoided my question and see me as a retarded tool. A true Bracket Manager shouldn't take thier view about a person and hold it agaist them when they ask from something from you.

Thank you for the support Makavreli, I see nothing wrong with a post like the one I made earlier nor the one you did just now in your PS. Its a forum to just hang out and talk with fellow twinks it doesnt have to sensored to such an extent.

Interestingly you felt the need to explain your PMs instead of quoting them verbatim, but even if what you posted exactly represents your PMs, it feels obvious to me that you are trying to provoke in that conversation. Now you might not have been trying to do that, I'm just pointing out that it's what it looks like to me.

Regarding the insult, while I wouldn't use the word tool myself, Mialo did. In this @thread he publicly apologized for reacting to your provocation with a mild insult. I should think that settles it and certainly doesn't disqualify him from BM position.

Trying to make up a case of censorship against a brand new Bracket Manager out of this discussion around a one liner with no constructive content for TI seems excessive to me. Taking a decision on words that a member of staff has advised you don't belong on the forum into a public thread on the forum is problematic, and in danger of offending you mortally, I think you should have known that. In case you really didn't, let me summarize it again: If words or sentences have been remarked upon as not acceptable by TI staff you may of course contest that decision by contacting staff, but you may not do it in a thread.

Back to the issue that you could have brought to an admin's notice via PM: The CoC are very clear on obscenity and nudity. If someone on the staff receives a report or notices something excessive, they will edit or remove the post. While the one who posted will usually not find the post offensive, other members of TI may.

We have had no reports for the signatures you mention, but if someone were to report them we'd check and possibly remove them as well. That's why there is a report feature. The fact that no-one has reported the nudity seems to indicate that no-one takes offence.

If you want to discuss the semantics of what you posted further you may do so in a PM, but the CoC are clear on vulgarity, so we do not need a thread explicitly listing all of the vulgar terms and expressions you can think of.

If you or anyone else has any input on what you feel is excessive censorship or disagreements with any of the staff, including the brand new bracket managers, you can send PMs to the staff.

Be advised that I have no sympathy for your issue at all since I consider it utterly ridiculous that so much fuss had to be made around this.
