Men's Colognes?

Yeah so I'm kinda in the shopping mood. I have a variety of colognes I currently use but was wondering if there is anything "new" out there worth buying? Price is not really an option, and I need ideas. I want something fresh and new but not overplayed.

fyi - don't buy Creed Pure White Cologne - worst purchase of the year.

Anyone get a smell of Fierce by Abercrombie & Fitch? The women at the mall were all over that. I thought it smelt like tree sap personally..

I was on the Metropolitan Line once when a young guy got on and sat next to me, and I normally pay no attention whatsoever to other people out in public but this guy I immediately noticed, because he smelt *like a god*.

So we sat there, passed a station, then another, and I thought damn, any minute now he's going to get off and I will never know what that gorgeous perfume is, and I will wonder about it ever after.

So I channeled my inner not-me, and said "I hope you don't mind me asking, but what is that amazing perfume you're using?"
And he blushed and told me it was Chanel Allure Homme Sport. Then he said "I might have gotten a little carried away with the splashing it on," so I replied, "Not at all, I love it, it's beautiful," and he blushed almost to death poor guy.

When the train stopped I went straight to a dept store, and bought a bottle for my fella. After that, he smelt like a god!

Just one sub-optimum aspect - being Chanel it's bloody expensive :/

This is always a winner in my book.
This one has a really nice scent, nothing too crazy or stinky. It also eliminates the smell of sweat (ofc not if you are working out), but if you have the tendency to sweat a little from hitting the floor or just being in a semi-hot room, etc.

Price starts at 77$+ in my country.

I was out clubbing once. Went to the toilet and as usual in a lot of UK clubs there was a black dude selling fragrances, lollypops, chewing gum etc.

The usual tag lines of "No spray, no lay!" "No Armani no Poonani" “No Davidoff, no suck it off.”

I usually wear Armani Code Original. But they also do an Armani Code Black.
I asked for the Armani Code and he pulled out the black stuff. Well, being drunk and not fully filtering what was coming out of my mouth I said "None of the black stuff, I hate black, black smells like shit."

Those words fell out of my mouth and time just slowed down in my head as I struggled to come to terms with what I'd said in front of this big black African man.
It sounded in my own head that I'd taken advantage of this and used it to be racist. Let alone what it sounded like in his head...

Awkward few seconds of silence followed by apology and insisting I was only talking about the aftershave £2 lighter I got myself out the bog.

Terre d'Hermes has been my "daily driver" so to speak for quite some time, I managed to find it at Costco of all places. It's my girlfriends second favourite scent after Creed Aventus, but I'm not someone who can justify $400 for a bottle of cologne (especially when I'm not single lol).

An old favourite in summer is Benetton Verde EDT, but I'm not sure they even make that any more.
