EU+US Melee classes?

Wanting to make my first melee alt but not sure where to start. Surv hunters seem REALLY common and do a shit ton of damage but they just look so... Mindless, I guess, to play lol. Any suggestions?

Arms are just as op but i personally found it uninspiring. I'd say shaman. The hitting effects are satisfying and u can reach 100k damage in bg fairly easily. I think u can easily win melee duels against monk and rogue, and sometimes on par with warrior and hunter in bg. Its also so versatile and allows you to switch to heals or range whenever you feel like. I enjoy rogue and monk a lot too. But outlaw seems to be the only viable spec for rogue whereas mistweaver feels less efficient compared to resto shaman

A melee that has a decent skill cap atm and a high chance of being gamebreaking, is a sub rogue at 29. They are insanely fun, and as mentioned, can be quite gamebreaking.

So if you're bound on melee, and wanna play a class that offers a broader toolkit than most, not just damage, then I would highly recommend a 29 sub rogue.

I've heard ppl saying subtlety rogues are strong in this patch but I haven't seem to capture its essence. Without the pistol shot to slow and stun, it seems to have less control power. Or maybe because i'm playing 20 instead of 29?

At 20, outlaw rogue is the best cus' it has the slow, CC, good dmg and 20 sub rogue only has dmg and no CC. At 29, sub rogue has 2x shadowstep as a gap closer, blind for the CC, evasion to survive and more dmg than an outlaw rogue + a slow debuff.

thanks, that makes all the differences. I was quite confused when all my attacks were evaded on a rogue duel. Gonna stay outlaw then.
