The gems likely wont work.

I've seen belt sockets trade glitched onto twinks belts before hut they've never gemmed them because they say they're too low level

The main reason people attach buckles to belts at such low levels is for their swag/flex sets

i wont go into full details, but it involves making the item not soulbound temporarily. it really isn't a complicated process to make it not soulbound, but the process to send it over to the twink is what i have to use high level methods to achieve. the rest is just really easy.

Low lvl twinks with socket was a thing back in earlier expansion. The gems placed into those sockets were non-functional.
