hmm? I usually beat other hunters in melee fights that are wearing a staff. And I spend a lot of time spamming wingclip + the fiery procs hit. My guild says we're farming the furbolg pouch soon.
Also, my main is a level 43 with mount so I didn't buy the boe's and I haven't collected librams yet. Not exactly best in slot yet but doing well enough to be useful to our group and have fun.

Yeah, doesn't sound like you're being challenged much, but I mean if you're in melee you'll want the biggest Raptor Strikes. Also, fiery will proc alot more off your Wingclip spam with a two hander.

well alright then buddy i'll try to farm up the money for a twisted chanter's staff next then, was gonna go for the librams before this but if it'll make the difference in kills i'll get the staff first.

Right on, the staff should cost a fraction of what two complete Librams will run ya. I sell it for 25-30g all the time, and unless your server's economy is completely borked it should be similar.
