Maximum Strength Main Hand?

Eyepatch is huge, but if you refuse to reroll, then go with whatever loses you the most stats. Gorewalker Treads are an option too. Get everything, and mix and match until you find max str at hit cap.

BiS weapon for Protadins depends on which faction / what gear you're using.

My Protection paladin focuses on having a large health bar while also doing damage. I give up a lot of high damage scaling items, like Band of Foul Strength, for items that are more realistically balanced.

I think Prot is about being a utility to your team with anti-healer, off-healing, and general AoE burst. So staying power and maximum damage numbers (for killing healers) are most important to me. For this reason, I take Stamina > Crit > Strength.

I'd say that in most cases, Cookie's Tenderizer = BiS for Str > Stamina "Pret"adins

And Baron's Scepter is BiS for more stat balanced Prot paladins.

For Tanky spec, go Diamond Hammer > Dawnblade. Prot Paladins should never be completely 100% tank oriented, since your damage abilities are always going to be extremely useful in a premade or pug situation (Compared to Prot Warriors and Guardian Druids who, while adding some damage, are not as effective DPS tanks are Protadins. Focus on your strengths.)

cap with flying tiger + boots + dpr/demon + razorz and use 11 stre legs and 6 stre bracers

with lfh dividend + hero + dpr is best
I don't really see Flying Tiger Goggles as being as being a valid option for anyone with LFH. Max strength (which I'm not really going for, more of a max dps without going full retard) demands Giants Growth from Alchemy, and that means Herbalism too (unless you are truly sadistic). I guess that means that I'm not really into going full glass cannon using greens. However, just for academics, with your setup with the LFH: Darkwater Talwar for weapon?

So back when there was arena on Korgath the warriors would all go crit meaning Cobrahn's Boots, Black Wolf Bracers etc. Is that not what you do anymore? If not, why not? My prot warrior has no gear right now and hits 1k + crit slams and 490 ish regular slams. I can't imagine that I'm going to get much higher with strength.

You silly goose. This is talking about prot paladins. Prot paladin avenger shield scales pretty nicely with strength, and they also benefit from the fact that their heals also heal more with the attack power > spell power conversion.

Prot warriors shield slam on the other hand doesnt scale well at all with strength, and it is still best to stack crit on them

Lol, I think you're lagging. You're double posting all over the place.

To answer your question, I believe warriors are still stacking crit and stam over strength. To be BiS in this patch, the BFD pants are probably best bet. But that could very easily change come WoD.

Oh I know! I was just curious about warriors. So would Jenny's Gloves be pretty dope at 5 stam 5 crit?

yeah the tiger set is just full glass cannon

seeing as the proc on talwar is awful, id probs use protectors as it has max top end with 5 stre

Looking at your "mainstream" set on the previous page I think capping your way with lfh is actually the same stre and 1 more stam, assuming you don't use 6 stre bracers or 11 stre legs. My way does free up the wep slot though if you want to go more balanced
