Max Amount of Bag Space?

Okay, so most of the posts have wrong information.

you have 7 bag slots available (four on your toon...3 in the bank)

Both sides have access to 6-16 slot faction bags (required Revered for each faction)

That leaves 1 more bag slot

Alliance has access to two more 16-slot PvP bags for 50 honor each. ALLIANCE ONLY.

For HORDE, your easiest option is to buy a 14-slotter when you're exalted (need the exalted discount).

at exalted, you can buy 20-slot jewelcrafting and mining bags (need the exalted discount). you can also buy a 16-slot inscription bag. (not much reason to buy these though, imo)

there's Nagrand faction bags that are 14-slots, but i think those are hunter only.

you could also farm darkmoon faire tickets to get a 14-slot bag (this will probably change before the next faire though as darkmoon is being revamped).

summary:

Alliance=seven 16-slotters

Horde=six 16-slotters and one 14-slotter

note: they journeyman's bag everyone is talking about is a 14-slotter. you could luck out and get a 16-slot drop, but it only really drops from level 30+ mobs, so good luck with that.

The 18 slot Halaani bag is for level 64+ and any class can get it. Traveler's Backpack, not Journeyman's, is what I got from the Gurubashi chest. Both are drops though.

:blizzard:

Um for the proffesion bags, i found that you dont need to be exalted. They are at around 9g 80s. I think you can also get one for herbalism and LW not sure how big

the prof bags that cost 12g need exalted. herb bag is only 12 slots...don't think there's a LW bag a f2p can buy from a vendor

Why do alliance get 2 honor bags? Is it a bug?

there are arrow/ammo bags sold at alliance AV vendor. horde had them once and they got removed.

all ammo pouches/arrow quivers were converted to being bags patches ago when hunters where no longer required to buy ammo/arrows. wish i knew that cause i would have bought a ton of 12, 14, 16, etc slot quivers

The 16 slot green backpack is pretty rare yes but sure is possible. For example I have one =)

Best bet is to get it from gurubashi chest. Heard around 3 people getting it there.

You can't actually get the halaani bag because the quest to turn in the powders to tokens requires level 64.
