Mastery works or not?

Just wondering does mastery work at all at 70? Noticed hunter legs from old hillsbrad have mastery but no stat on chat sheet at 70.

Anyone know for sure?

When hit got removed in wod it was converted to either crit (if an item already had haste on it) or haste (if an item already had crit on it). There are a few examples of items that had all three (hit, crit, haste) before wod, and those items got mastery. No, it doesn't do anything.
