Mastery or Intellect on a Disc Priest?

I've been trying to figure out the spell difference in value of intellect vs mastery and I'm having trouble finding a site with info so I did some testing.
My priest had 221 intellect unbuffed...
This was with the Major Spellpower +14 int weapon enchant...
Heals with Shadow Mend were about 1020 with 2030 crits on average...
Penance about 348 with 831 crits on average...
Power Word Shield absorbs were about 450-480 on average, a 900 or 1000 crit shield sometimes...
This is also 100% uptime...

Then I enchanted Mark of Bleeding Hallow for 31 mastery... it's 12 seconds so not much uptime
Int now sitting at 207...
Shadow Mend was critting 2400
Penance about 412 with 900 crits
shield 542 with 1100 crits
On a timer i got 8 procs in a 5min window so that's a little over a minute and a half uptime in that period...

My biggest problem is mana efficiency, I seem to keep everyone alive just fine until i go oom lol

You're on the right path. To figure out stat weights for my resto shaman, I found my intellect + spellpower total (1 int = 1 spellpower) and recorded relevant spell results. Then I switched out a trinket with less int but that didn't change any of my secondary stats, and recorded the new results with the same stats. I took the spell differences and divided that by the int difference, which gave me a % result per point of int.

Your character sheet will easily let you figure out % per point of mastery (remember not to include your baseline mastery), versatility, haste, etc. Then you can compare those numbers and figure out stat weights accordingly.

After that, you can get deep into the theorycrafting weeds with the following three considerations: 1) diminishing returns on secondary stats start at 30% and mastery easily reaches that, 2) remember that some spells perform differently in instanced PvP, but you won't see it unless you're actually in a BG or arena (e.g. Blizzard made chain heal significantly stronger), 3) crits only land for 150% in instanced PvP, vs 200% everywhere else.

If you need an example of how this theorycrafting can work, shout out and I'll post a walkthrough for my 29 shaman.

Gear looks good so far. I'd definitely recommend grabbing a https://www.wowhead.com/item=77530/ghost-iron-dragonling and/or https://www.wowhead.com/item=77533/lightweight-retinal-armor, the cogwheel gems give you +12 of a secondary each (there's 2 different haste gems too). The MoP helm is better than the cata one as the socket bonus is 3 int compared to 1.

For meta gem I'd recommend https://www.wowhead.com/item=25893/mystical-skyfire-diamond, it's a ton of fun.
Grab some socketed pants.

For weapon you have a few options. I personally love https://www.wowhead.com/item=2243/hand-of-edward-the-odd as is procs separately from the meta gem, so 2x 4 second procs of 186 haste feels great.
You could go https://www.wowhead.com/item=30723/talon-of-the-tempest if you're trying to get sockets for secondary options.
Or if you're after max int, then grab the shadow artifact weapon. You can get ilvl 40-42 (and I believe ilvl 43 which is the next level of stat upgrade if you're super lucky, I've seen relics proc to +11 ilvls, though never gotten 2 myself).
That will give you 52 int total as you can enchant both the mainhand and offhand even though it's considered 1 weapon that gives 2 slots. It will also be above 35 ilvl so you can enchant coastal surge which is a fantastic pure healing enchant.

Otherwise try and find any ilvl 37 boe greens if you can for your other slots. They give the most main stats and can proc sockets/tertiary. I think only chest and pants are better as they offer 3 gem slots (belt technically does as well but 2 sockets on a ilvl 37 belt wins out slightly).

https://www.wowhead.com/item=31859/darkmoon-card-madness is an interesting trinket if you dungeon or solo a fair bit. The buffs it gives are:
+9 stam
+9 int
+11 sp
+13 haste
Each buff lasts a minute, the trinket has no icd. It works even with xp turned off but you do need the killing blow, which I find isn't too hard with Mind Sear and Shadow Word Death. Further killing blows refreshes one of the buffs.

As for the mastery vs int question, I think int is better naturally as int also applies to your damage which in turn applies to your attonement healing as well. It's why I also prefer vers to mastery. That being said I haven't done any math if you were going pure healing. I just think the damage we can offer gives more utility to dungeon groups.

Edit: Attached a screenshot of the +11 relic I got on my 29 warrior. This was on the end of zone relic reward, I've only seen this happen once so far. 2x +10 give ilvl 41 weapons, so 2x +11 should theoretically give ivl 43, which is the next tier of stats. I haven't done more zones on my warrior yet, so it's just in my bags for now.

[doublepost=1605923735,1605908353][/doublepost]Okay, to update on the relic chance, it did end up working. On my warrior i was lucky to get 2x +11 ilvl relics. This seems to only happen on the end of zone relic reward, which you have 4 chances for the epic upgrade.

ilvl 41 is what you expect to get. Ilvl 42 was 0.3 dps upgrade but same stats, ilvl 43 is the next tier of stats which is 0.4 dps upgrade, +2 main stat +8 secondary.

Disc at every lvl has mana problem.. When you are healing your whole team in a small bg when the enemy hits your team hard, you will ALWAYS run out of mana.. In the same situation, a resto druid or shaman or monk will NEVER experience this.. It been years but blizzard never want to rectify it, if other healing class has this issue, then it's not a problem, but they don't.. I once chased a disc priest in circle in wsg alliance base he used whatever mana regenerated to heal himself and can't attack me, I have over 90% of my mana up at all time, I was using a resto druid.. I used to play disc and no matter how I time my mana usage, I will always be out of it healing a team.. I haven't touch disc for a long time
[doublepost=1606626054,1606625514][/doublepost]Yes, I understand disc are not full fledged healers so they can't compare with resto and mist
