Has anyone experimented with a full mastery set?

what is the max amount of mastery available at lv 20?

mastery rating not mastery % as different classes & specs scale differently

interested in anyone who has experimented with mastery enchants over main stat/ mastery weapon enchant procs.

Theres definately hunters out there with full mastery sets. I assume theres ele shams aswell and probs some mages

I stacked 79% Mastery on Affliction warlock, 69% on Destro, but disregarded everything else like Vers and Haste. Its not a worthy investment because im a dull af twink.

I think around 130 mastery rating, I cant imagine going higher then 150 but I could be wrong.

128% mastery affli lock (177 mastery or smth like that, dont rember well), not sull savant yet. Feels fine

I wonder if a stamina-stacked, full mastery and versa HPal is viable.

It would play on the frontline to tank damage, but would be able to heal himself by a lot with the Mastery.

Full savant set mastery on my hunter, even had 1mastery/1Haste gems for a bit, and mastery bracer and glove enchant. double on use mastery trinks instead of stat sticks. No flask. Got a huge damage boost when I swapped to +3 agi gems and enchant with the huge mastery modifier, worth the 1-2 yards lost.
164 agi, 2crit, 176 mastery, 0 haste, 19 vers. 1,028 aimed shot pve tooltip

putting on desolation chest+shoulders, epoch hunter legs, quest belt+boots is better than full mastery set for my toon. (183agi, 33 crit, 20 haste, 115 mastery, 39 vers. 1,044 pve aimed shot tooltip.)

I do like to play the full savant set still, 51 yards in bg while still being powerful is kinda ok.

My warrior has a high mastery set for fresh meat fury talent, 154 str, 182 mastery, 57 crit, 12 haste, 0 vers. 2str/2crit gems. It’s an insane dmg boost when enrage is up. Massive pve dps, but can be too glass cannon for a bg. Can get some near 1 shots with fury abilities on clothies at max deathwish stacks and enrage up.

You're essentially putting yourself in harms way intentionally, as a healer, taking unneeded damage/pressure and making your job significantly harder, all in an attempt to make a shitty secondary stat viable.

Awesome I love to see it, you’ve got about 20 mastery rating on my Hunter as of now. I’ve got the same gun tho lucky us

All of it came from bleeding hollow or tichondrius auction house XD, maybe 5 weeks of buying. Shoulders was the “rarest”

I'm at 217 mastery on my range set. It's a fun set to play for non-competitive games, but as Zazzy said you give up some meaningful damage by putting on marginal +mastery enchants.

Swapping some gear around brings up the damage a lot, so there's some tinkering you gotta do to find the sweet spot of range and damage.
