so, the 405 tailoring spellthreads have been broken since legion launched, for everyone making new twinks and wondering about professions...

if you had one applied beforehand its unaffected, but applying it now, puts on the one that requires 550 to be active.

so, everyone go jc and eng. (oh and if youre melee to lw first)

yes, but they still work and are still worth getting.

Even so, Tailoring + Herbalism is still technically the best combination of professions for casters in PvE but let's be real nobody wants to bother with that.

When you gather Netherbloom you have a chance to get a buff that boosts a random primary stat (or versatility, since it used to be a primary) by 50. It lasts for 15 minutes and doesn't persist through death.

Assuming you're using full consumables (Flask of Distilled Wisdom and Superior Wizard Oil) and the herbalism buff, the Whitemend Wisdom set becomes BiS despite its low ilvl.

So yes, on paper herbalism + tailoring is BiS, although it's obviously extremely impractical.
