Making Kale AFK?

Dude, if every time I joined a BG and everyone focused on me just because of who I was, I would /afk as well. EVERY SINGLE TIME. You guys are essentially griefing him and then laughing/complaining when he refuses to play along.

Step back and take a look at what you're doing, then think about how you would react in the same situation.

We used to let him play,but since it was well known he'd do this, we just focus him for the initial battle. He's gone after that. And it usually happens in AP games we do this, which isn't that often because there are alot more games going on that hell get into.

Personally i can see why most people would want kale to afk.

Anyone that has seen kale in a bg knows he plays objectively and is more skilled than most rets in this bracket, if my team can get him to afk then the alliance has lost a huge asset and that can mean the difference between a win or a lost

I focus him because it's funny. I afk out of games all the time if I'm not having fun. He AFK's to avoid dying after he attempts to 1v10 the other team, which I find hilarious and ironic.

Not really. He doesn't play objectives. He mostly just farms (mid). This can be seen as a form of playing the objective, but I've rarely see him go for the EFC when both teams got their flags in base. I've not seen him hold the flag either. I could be wrong ofcourse.

And stating that he's better than most Rets in this bracket is pretty obvious. 99% of this bracket is just plain bad. Saying he's #1 or even #5 Retpal in this bracket, isn't correct either. He isn't bad. He isn't pro. He's just a good/decent Retpal who does weird stuff.

@ Imirak: He doesn't AFK because we focus on him. You don't play (long) enough in his bracket to really understand the story behind it. Kale AFK's for all different sorts of reasons, mostly being his team sucks and doesn't support his way of playing, i.e. running in a group of 10 while blowing all his CD's in a hope to survive and kill as much as possible. If he is about to die because of the lack of support, he'll prolly leave. So what do most players do when a BiS GF Ret Pal is running around to a group? Global him. Can't global him because of all his gear & CD's. So he will get killied (i.e. he mostly AFK's) or you keep letting him tunnel your healers. What do you want us to do?

Killing him is strategy because he almost always comes in megabuffed but will AFK rather than die (at least I've never seen him die in like 50k kills). I always go for him first to put alliance 1 man down and eliminate another geared and megabuffed player. I wouldn't attack him first if he didn't always AFK out but since he does I always try to get the whole team on him

EDIT: Not saying AFKing is wrong tho, he makes me smile

HE started it, not us. WE'RE playing along with his AFK crap. We didn't purposely start this to make him AFK. It was the other way around, we decided "Hey, look, Kale always AFKs. Lets make him do it even faster now!"

1) We make Kale AFK because Kale AFKs. Circular logic.
2) To remove a player to make the other team less effective.
