Making a 39 Warrior Twink

well, then i got SUPERPROUBERsetup:
every item is at least rare! (do not blame me for the bracer stats...you have to take dropluck into account)

Well geeze guys you jump down a newbs throat for making some assumptions before asking but you let Pers recommend Nightblade and don't give him a full page of thread back talk??? He's at least been around for awhile and knows better.
Now Zshadow, when you say you saw a "twink" "going damn good" with those weapons you were in an XP match wheren't you? Because purple + minor enchants anything = damn good in an xp match.
So, what you would like to know is why your choices were so horrible right? OKay, dual wield is for fury warriors and fury warriors at 39 don't get crap for abilities to use in fury. So basically what you would be doing is, whirlwinding for 1 second and then getting your butt kicked for 9 seconds before you can whirlwind again.
Now compare this to Overpower that you get in Arms (which by the way, completely sucks with 1h) or Revenge in defensive. Not to mention Rend in both stances.(also super dependent on melee weapon dmg)
To conclude a DW arms spec is a horrible idea, a DW fury spec is a horrible idea, a DW prot warrior is a horrible idea (but here's a horrible spec to go with it XD dual wield prot warrior rawrzors )
If you attempt to try any of the three we will laugh at you till our sides hurt (i'll still give you props for trying the DW prot warrior spec cause I'm weird like that).
Powerglove made a nice walk-through for arms warriors in the guide section and I made one for prot.
If you don't have access to heirloom items you might want to check out my guide for a wider list of weapons and armor and work with what you can get your hands on.

Wow, you guys really need to do your twink research. Here, I'll make it easy for you and list out the best dps weapons:
Nightblade- 43.4 dps
Fiery War Axe- 40.3 dps
Pod- 38.9 dps
Bloodied Arcanite Reaper- 38.0 dps
Nightblade is the clear choice, with a 3.1 dps advantage of Fiery War Axe. Pod and BAR are good alternatives if you can't afford NB or FWA (they're purple, so they obviously cost a ton). Personally though, I always go for the best, so its worth it for the few hundred gold for a Nightblade.

For 2h weps for warriors you look at two things, weapon speed or should i say weapon slowness and then weapon range. This is because AP increases the DPS of a weapon, so slower weapons gain more dmg per hit than do quicker weapons ex:2 sec wep speed vs. 4 sec wep speed, the 2 sec wep speed gains 2 dmg per 14 attack power(+1dps) per hit while the 4 sec weapon gains 4 dmg per hit). After factoring that in take the weapon with the highest damage range.
For prot warriors w/ 1h's it's not really that big of a deal I use the ZF mallet because my attk power w/battle shout makes the Shovelphlange the exact same dmg range but i get 5 expertise and .3 faster swing timer the ZF mallet and plus to be real the ZF mallet is a baaadd asss looking weapon, it's like a 2h in one hand where is the SHovelphlange looks like a dumb mining pick.

For the OP. If you're gonna duel wield, that is a pretty solid template. You can go with dual Potency or dual Crusader depends on what you want. I have a set of 2 Bonebreaker's with Crusader I throw on every once in a while just to get the procs, then I switch back to dual Potency. I would also suggest a different trinket, I am just testing that(Swift Hand of Justice) out in BGs atm to see if the proc is worth anything. Apparently it procs on HKs and not just KBs.

250g in a few weeks? seriously? try a few hours...and magrim is correct, you are looking for topend and speed on a weapon for a warrior or ret (very similar gear setups at 39), with higher topend (and lowend) you get bigger hits overall leading to burst, burst is what wins in pvp.
To the OP, look at ari's armory they're prob the best warrior in our battlegroup (edit, so i just armoried ari, wtf did you do with your boa stuff ari?), or possibly my ret paladin who has a pretty nice setup (ya ya i need rev wrists and gloves).
