Mage vs. Warlock

I've got a Mage and Warlock, but I really don't know which I'm going to play. Both are on random realms, therefore I'm going to have to transfer, but there's only 1 spot left on my main's realm. Both got pretty decent gear, though only my Warlock has got Jutebraid Gloves (as well as 1 AGM).

Anyhow, which class is the most fun/needed these days?

I would treasure your gloves and build on that, a mage is fun to play as long as your with people on the same page. don't help to freeze people when noone will help you kill them. mages have alot of cc and you can have alot fun just annoying other players

Yeah, the gloves... if only I had them on my Mage, I'd most probably be playing the Mage. They seem like a lot of fun anyway though. Any other opinions?

atm warlocks are weak but I'd pick him anyways for diversities sake and maybe 1 day u will get buffed and have some fun having the gloves :D

Warlocks aren't very common so if you think can play them effectively, go for it. Frost mages are always a treat to play with when I fc.

Also, <Static> would enjoy either class. A good frost mage is always good to have. + we are looking for a defensive mage at the moment.

Pick the lock 'mon ;)

As said before, we are extremelly rare due to our class being gimped in term of damage / survivability (even with 2k life as demonology, you go down en 4s max). As you have AGM, you should give it a shot.

ps: sick of paladins / priests / hunters / rogue in 19s. Mages are just anoying but silence is op / dmg is higher than lock (they scale sp much better). Hell even a shaman would perform better.

I have a BiS lock and a decently geared Mage, I enjoy the Mage a ton more it's just sad how weak locks are atm I'd xfer the Mage no doubt.

I remember when I used to cringe when I saw locks. Bring back that feeling!

Lock only because they are pretty rare to see. :p Its always nice to have a variety of classes.
