mage vs lock

I find lock to put out nice damage along with having good survivability
Mage has some good points but its damage hits very softly, sadly
I would go lock

go mage . of all the classes in the lvl 20 f2p bracket it can hit the hardest. i recomend you try fire spec . chose presence of mind . and stack some crit. :) chears

edit: you might want to befriend a healer though.

Just got through playing a Mage and switching to Warlock is easier to stack damage and CC, but it is harder to get away from your enemy when they become immune to fear.

if your mage is fully geared you can nova, cast pyro, presence of mind pyro, if they both crit another instant pyro that all crit 500 ish
Who's stupid enough to let you first FN him, get off a FULL long cast of Pyro and then another PoM Pyro? Like that's going to happen.

Is 3 pryroblast= 500 or is it 1 pyro=500? with crit of coarse.

its possible but extremely limited number of scenarios to execute. So many ways to counter roots, whether it been trinkets or cds.

dam thats some insane burst. What about buffing the mage up and have them all crit at least 600 each. Interesting if that can become really handy in the upcoming 10v10. Have the team setup so that the mage can pyro 3 shot a player. How about having a /s macro to warn everyone about ducking out a 1500 3 shot by having everyone not removing a novaed target. Asking a bit too much but man that would be hella fun to be able to execute successfully without someone breaking a nova.
