I don't know what the max spellpower would be, but yes, I think a spellpower build would suit a mage or a warlock, with maybe the warlock trading some int for stam.

153sp would the be the SP cap. If you want fire, it's like, 165+ not sure on actual total.

wtf? gc mages are srsly pwnage if you can play them well, least I pwn with mine.

5 Imp Forstbolt, 3 Ice Floes, and 2 Permafrost.

This is actually not too bad for a dps spec.

Frost bolt, get some range, cast it again then fireball. Simple yet effective unless fighting a druid then it's probably a little harder.
