Mage - Glyph help

Of course the benefits are only increased with a bigger mana pool. I had around 3.3k mana buffed whilst still retaining 2500hp and 180sp frost, 10% crit.

What do you mean? It is 240ish mana, no matter how much mana you have, right? And IMO 240 aint gamebraking as 2 escape artist's might be

Mana gem glyph incrase the mana gained from your mana gem, not incrase the mana gained from your max/base mana pool. Soo its 234-246 more mana. Do you really wanna start use IV like a EA effect, instead of use it to pump out dmg?

no, but if the alternative would be 240 mana I would like to have the chance to be able to do it if I needed. And its not like IV goes away when used with a glyph

If i may :

- Major Glyph 1 : Evocation (irrevocable)

- Major Glyph 2 : Poly, IV, Scorch - depends on the team mate(s) and the situation (arena, bg, duel ...)

- Minor Glyph : Slow fall (free buff) or Fire ward

Major Glyph 2 is subject to many variations, you can't focus on one eternal glyph. Get more than one of each important glyph and change it when you need to.

I think glyph of mana gem is not the best choice.

Which is exactly my first post, Cowabunga. However, for an arena situation (which I think was stated a few posts below after Falaris criticizing me being Frost), I can't really swap glyphs on demand, so the contribution is close to none as I am looking for the one glyph to use in arenas.

The glyph is also only a subject to variation under a few circumstances, none affecting this choice.

- Going between 1v1, arenas and BGs

- Playing with stupid, uncoordinated people that have DoTs (Polymorph glyph, a huge waste of a glyph-slot you can use to gain a lot more)

- Changing specs

Constructive help, please. That goes to... almost everyone. Rezist and Seffy have helped me, kudos for that.

Yea sorry been up all night fucking like a dog so made a mistake there, in my otherwise impetuous knowledge. I still like the additional mana - I remember many situations dueling Kopmage and that last bit of 'fall out mana', which the opponent has not accounted for, swings the fight.
