LvL 60 warrior Arena Pro(t)?

Hi all



I'd really want to roll a Protection warrior for pvp and mainly arena. My friend is also going to make a twink but he doesn't know what class he's going to roll.



So I have a few questions to ask.



What battlegroup is most active in arena/av for 60s?



Is prot viable at all in either arena or AV? or should I just go fury or arms? ( I'd like fury more than arms, but I hear it's awful alot harder than arms) Or should I just go arms for like the rest of the bandwagon?



The strenghts of Prot:

-Low physical dmg intake

-Lots of stuns and CCs

-Revenge hits like a truck

-Charge and intercept can be used in def. stance



Cons of Prot

- no MS effect ( big hit for arena right)

- No heal abilities such as blood crazed or second wind or bloodthirst

- If no one is hitting you you don't much rage to play with



Now I have been thinking that if prot is viable that there could be some nice arena partners for the specc.



- Destro lock

- Hunter (MM for Ms effect or survi for high burst damage?

- Retri paladin

- Sub or muti rogue (yay ms effect!)



Mainly any high burst dps class. Since my job would be keeping healer busy by CCing and stunning him at my best ability while my partner tries to burn off the other class down. Does this sound any good? Any other suggestions for a partner? Which would be the best?





If I can roll prot ( It being viable and all ) Do I need to change from def stance to only hamstring. Or Must I use any other abilities as well?



Are there any other tips or hints or opinions you could give to me?

Prot is the best spec and very viable in the 60 bracket. Arms is great for 3's but 2's and 5's prot is amazing. Come to Stormstrike if you want to Arena. We have an arena night and people often ask for arena randomly throughout the week. If you want proof check our website out LCS 60 twinks under the "galleries" section on the left side. We are currently full on warriors atm so you might want to try DIRTY ally side or another guild if your interested. You can armory some of our warriors in "Luge Crash Survivor" for specs and glyphs.
