Sup guys! Well this thread is for all information regarding level fives. I'm going to add all the knowledge I can but I've never twinked 5's so any information is highly appreciated.



I need this thread so I can direct all the people in my guild to it so they can twink their toons. Thanks. Some of this info is to save me from typing it over and over.





First off I'm going to make a few sections.



1.)Intro and Basics

2.)Gear choices



INTRO



-Add my realid ogspeaks@aol.com



-Make your level 5 on Shadowsong US :Alliance:



-Then I'll start you off with some gold and basic gear.



-Turn off XP for 10g at SW Castle



-Start twinking your toon! If you get yourself 100% twinked we can start raiding!

If you don't, i have to sit here waiting for everyone. If you are seriously out of gold and not being greedy ask for it!



-Dont buy dumb shit off the auction house please... I have a little over 5k to my name please do not waste it. Dont buy overpriced scrolls when you can find the mats and an enchanter.



-Please dont hassle me with gear choices and descions!! I'm just as new as you!!



-Please don't waste my gold



-I have never ran a super active twink guild please be patient.

I got it covered we don't need any info on this thanks.
 
Well first of all, in almost all cases(IMO) anyways 10 haste to gloves is BiS due to the fact that you attack/spellcast 26% faster, as well as hunters/rogues regaining focus/energy 26% faster. I also would suggest 20 haste to 2h weapon for any class that can use it dues to that being a 52% increase to everything said before. 15 str to weapon may also be useful for warriors/paladins due to steadier dps, although i think crusader averages out to more, it just is burstier. Other than that I can't provide much info due to never twinking at level 5

thanks for the haste suggestions will have to test it out i guess :)
 
Formal Dangui - lvl 60 chest

Formal dangui? you can get it enchanted then put a greater rune of warding on it... also shoulders are available (BoA's).
 
dont forget that you can enchant a formal dangui with 22 dodge rating.

For the hunter wep do like this:

1. have 25 agi and burst out your arcane shots

2. switch to 20 haste and wait for 70-80 focus (use steady shot if dpsing in grp)

3. switch back to 25 agi and do 1.



this will give the highest dps for a hunter and all you lose by switching is that the timer on your auto attack is reset :D



6 stats to chest? I would only use is if I where dpsing. 16 dodge (22 if you got dangui) can give over 30% dodge depending on your current dodge %. If pvping vs a caster/hunter I use 15resilience (im lvl1 tho) for the 40% dmg reduction. and dont forget that 8% speed is very usefull in pvp (can be very buggy if you change to it after the duel starts)

lol first its for a guild which means pve. second yes you do need 5 hit.



third your chardev "solo" is terrible lol.



you need +10 haste to gloves, +7 stamina to boots, +6 stats to chest.
 
Well in your first post it says: "this thread is for all information regarding level fives." so i naturally asumed you guys did pvp too in wich all melee classes gain a lot surviveabillity from dodge and resilience is just soo good when you cant dodge.



I doubt that not a single one off you guys will duel ppl in GS between raids so this thread should contain pvp info too so you can direkt those that like pvp here too :D

The one reason Im holding back from making a lv5 on this realm is that, its not a PvP realm. ): The thought of five lv5s running around The Barrens as a team ganking lv10+ questers sounds so cool. As for now, Im gonna try 1-5 twinking on Frostmane, as its a PvP realm. Peace

i didnt mean to be rude, but it is just implied but yes thanks for youre tips.

and caulfield, we are playing on a normal server and we have been ganking alot lately. might not be as easy as on a pvp server but it amases me how many lvl 5-12 horde noobs in durotar thats stupid. you can practicly run to them, press your /away macro and sit. over 50% of them will attack you.

those that dont attack can be fooled by dueling and /forfeiting timed so they attack you after the duel.



poor lvl 26 shaman got ganked for like 1h by 3 lvl 1s XP



They all seem to think: "They just pwnd me so i might got a chanse now.......CHARGE!"

being on a normal server is no exuse for not ganking noobs :p
 
Oh yeah, I have thought about that, and even tried it once, but no one seemed to attack so I gave up. But if i get bored or keen to join you all, Ill roll a toon on the realm. Cheers
