Lvl 10 flying

why haven’t I seen anybody talk about being able to fly as a lvl 10 when unlocking DF adventure mode? It works in all zones and timelines

I can fly on my only level 10, have not unlocked Adventure Mode, (as far as I know) but that flying is only dragon fashion - i.e. swoopy & brief. There doesn't seem to be the option to Switch Flight Style that looks to only be unlocked at 20. (All my 20s can Switch Flight Style & loot Amnesia.)

Anything I'm missing, other than the now seemingly very useful Adventure Mode, which it sems I need a high level alt to unlock?

I'd be really happy to have standard flying but current version is better than nothing.

If you have done the DF campaign, adventure mode automatically unlocks on all alts created. You do need a higher lvl alt to do the campaign tho. Steady flight style isnt possible sadly, but dragonriding is still useful, especially since i got a new account with no flightspots. i can still fly around 6-7k yards without having to land with the dragon riding.

You can fly as long as you want, with dragon riding or what do you mean by 6-7k yards?

btw, no need to unlock adventure mode, just have any alt including pure f2p completed the Waking Shore intro questline up to https://www.wowhead.com/quest=68795/dragonriding

Then flying is unlocked for all linked a/c. f2p or vet.

Standard flying kind of sucks balls once you get used to dragon riding. You should install Dragon Rider addon and it will teach you how to maximize energy and vigor regeneration.

Once you get used to flying, you can cruise from Ghostlands all the way to Booty Bay on a single hop. In fact, you can climb 5k yards vertically from Darkshore to top of Mount Hyjal just by regenerating vigor in flight.
